My Baby Can Talk- Review and Giveaway.

Closed

They say that one of the main reasons for temper tantrums in small children is the frustration of being incapable of expressing what they want or think. Meaning that if your little one could talk and tell you what he/ she wants, you could be able to prevent those so feared temper tantrums.
I know you might be thinking….Duh , how can I solve that problem if my child doesn’t know how to talk yet……Well there is a way that is getting more and more popular: sign language. Small children learn how to imitate and copy all they see at a very young age, even before they learn how to talk.
My Baby can Talk is a series of DVD’s that teaches you the way to show your little one all the signs needing to express themselves.
I love they teach you and your child the different signs for different objects and feelings, it also helps you to create a really special bond as you and your little one try to understand each other.
The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and they show the samples with moms and babies, so it is very easy to relay on what they are teaching.
Baby Hands Productions, creators of the My Baby Can Talk product line, was founded on the principle that babies can communicate at a very early age and with the commitment to offer educational products to promote early language development from simple gestures to first spoken words. The My Baby Can Talk products teaches preverbal babies and their parents to communicate using simple gestures to bridge the gap between the time babies can communicate with their hands and the time babies can speak. This period of time generally falls within the range of ten to thirty-six months.
Honored by more than twenty national parenting awards including Parents Choice and reviewed and endorsed by child psychologists, professionals in the media as well as early childhood educators; My Baby Can Talk inspires preverbal communication using sign language as well as first spoken words. The My Baby Can Talk DVD series is the first program featuring preverbal babies signing all the words presented. Set to inspiring classical music, My Baby Can Talk videos feature beautiful real world images, delightful puppet shows, colorful toys in motion and babies communicating with simple gestures.
The My Baby Can Talk board books are truly unique in subject and format with no equal available on the market today. Each page comes alive with the word, a vibrant real world image and a delightful poem for parents to share with their babies. In addition, an illustration of the sign and a formal sign description is offered for parents to learn and teach to their little ones. These books are designed to inspire babies to learn to sign, learn to speak and begin to recognize the written word.

My Baby Can Talk Video Series Highlights:
• Designed and formatted to engage babies 10 months and older
• Features beautiful real world images, delightful puppet shows, colorful toys in motion and babies communicating with simple gestures
• Set to inspiring classical music
• Includes both preverbal babies and an adult demonstrating all the signs presented
• Teaches American Sign Language (ASL)
• Offers parent tutorials focusing on key guidelines to teach babies to sign
• Honored with more than six prestigious parenting awards
My only complaint is that I did not find out about these awesome DVD’s sooner! Maybe my experience with the terrible twos period wouldn’t be …..Well so terrible LOL.
Win it.

I think the best feature is the capability to give toddlers a voice, when their words aren't able to be formed yet...causing a lot less frustrations!

So great that this teaches kids ASL! Babies and toddlers need a way to communicate so that they don't get frustrated that no one understands what they want. I would love this for my daughter!

I need to find out what are the best developmental toddler toys for the kids. Please help.

Andrea B said...

I like that it shows "babies using sign language" on the video. Kids like to copy each other, so I think that is a great learing tool. Their website says it will Kelp Your Baby to Speak Sooner with a Larger Vocabulary. This would be a good thing for our daughter, because her mama and dad are quiet. She may need extra help.
