One of the main concerns for parents is the allergies that kids have developed, especially food allergies. It is really hard to keep the younger kids from eating some foods that they might be allergic to.
Thanks goodness, this is not a problem I have faced yet, but I like researching and knowing what my options are if I have to deal with that situation. While looking for those different options I came across Divvies. Divvies is a family based business and they offer a great variety of homemade fun-foods that are made without nuts, tree nuts , eggs or milk. And even though you might think that food without those ingredients might be a bit tasteless……This is definitely not the case with Divvies treats!
We received some of the Divvies treats and we loved sharing the different goodies! We received some of the Sugar cookies which were not as sweet as the ones you’ll get in the store, but that were very yummy.
We also received (and these were my favorites cookies) some of the oatmeal and raisin cookies, really tasty, you really don’t miss any of those ingredients that were not added.
Another product we received and this was an issue to share (DH decided they were his) was two of the divvies gourmet popcorn and they are just outstanding! We got to try the caramel and the chocolate / caramel popcorn and we all agreed that our favorite was the chocolate/ caramel……DELICIOUS!
Divvies also offers a great variety of candies and the ladybug absolutely loved the Super Stars which are sour at first and turn sweet as you eat them, my favorite type of candy:).
One thing that I was surprised with was their BingGo Benjamint Crunch chocolate, I am not a fan of that combination, but the Divvie chocolate mint is not your usual chocolate with that gluey mint filling, Divvies has organic pepper mint chunks candy which I have to confess I didn’t share…….. And the funny thing is that when you read the description for this chocolate bar, it actually says that it might be hard to share…..So true:).
Divvies catalog offers a lot more than the already mentioned treats, they also offer cupcakes, Gourmet food gifts and party favors. So the next time you are looking for a great place to get some fun- foods free of peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and milk , Divvie is a must for you.
And if you are still wondering what candies to get for Halloween, you need to check their Boo chocolate ghosts ……They are just too cute!
