Greeeeen I am going greeeen! I have decided that I want to go deeper in the green world and just started to use cloth diapers on the lady bug.
I think she is ready to be potty trained and I think that it will be easier for her doing the transition with cloth diapers, since they have the snaps and she is already into taking the diapers off!

Carousel Designs Review.

I just have to love my Google search; the kind of things you can find is just AMAZING!
I know that a baby room is a subject of interest for a lot of moms specially those that are expecting a new baby , it is always so exciting to get everything for the little one on the way. I think it is one of the really exciting things, putting the nursery together and to see how it will come out.
Let me tell you about this one store that I found, it is called Carousel Designs and they have the cutest crib bedding sets ever. They have these dream crib bedding sets that are just like the designer ones you see in the magazines but without the price being a nightmare.
You can get bedding sets for 200.00-318.00 dollars and WOW are they gorgeous, when the ladybug was on the way I spent (well nana did), about 275.00 dollars in a bedding set from Baby’s R us and I can tell you that that I wish I knew about this place then. They have the best variety I have found so far and their prints are just……To die for!
Not only do they have an awesome selection, for boys and girls bedding, but they even have Gender Neutral Crib Bedding Sets. Now that is not something you see everywhere! The kind of sets they have in this section is something you need to look at if you need a neutral decoration for the baby’s room. I absolutely love the Green and Brown Damask Four- Piece Crib Bedding Set ….Talking about fancy babies….My bedroom set is not nearly as nice!

I remember when I was young (3 years ago). I was always looking for cute bags to match my outfits…..I LOVE BAGS! But ever since I got the lady bug I spend more time shopping for diaper bags than what I do for handbags anymore.

In such bad economical times, everybody is trying to save some money and I am not any different, so I spend a lot of time looking for different products that can help me to keep a budget.

Baby Dipper Bowl- Review and giveaway.

I have to say that when I got my Baby Dipper bowl and spoon I thought that they were too small for the ladybug and that they would fit a younger baby a lot better……WRONG! I was really surprise in a very positive way I have to say.
The ladybug will not let anyone feed her so you can only imagine the kind of messes she can make when she is eating. So I gave her the Baby Dipper bowl still thinking that she wasn’t going to like it and that it wouldn’t work for her…..WRONG.
The spoon is deeper than most spoons I have seen which helps to keep the food in the spoon and the shape of the bowl is just perfect, it helps her to get the food in the spoon no matter what angle she tries. I don’t think I have actually seen her eat so much out of her plate without spilling everything!
I just love that little bowl, I wash it as soon as I use so I can re-use it for the next meal...I should probably get a couple of more …Shouldn’t I?
The bowl and spoon are also very easy to handle the non slip base makes it possible to feed a baby with only one hand.
I only wish they will make other sizes and colors…..Hint, hint. The ladybug is not a big eater, but this little bowl is something I want to keep using for as long as I can!

I can’t keep count of how many wipes I use in one single day but I can tell you that it’s a lot. I usually get the sensitive ones even though the ladybug is not a little baby anymore because rashes can always be present because she is still in diapers. I decided to look for a better solution than the wipes not only because they can get pricey but also because I want the best for my babies bottom.

They are small enough that you can carry them around in the diaper bag without taking up very much space. We all know about the limited space in the diaper bag and these do a good job of not wasting that valuable real estate.
I use my Bummas for a lot more than just drying the ladybug’s bottom. I use them as wash cloth when giving her a bath or to clean up her face and hands when we are out (all you need to do is just wet them a little and you are good to go). And I have to confess that I have stolen one for myself and use it to clean my face every night, just don’t tell the ladybug I took it :)

Living in sunny Florida is awesome , but when the temperature reaches almost a 100 degrees like it did today , you spend a lot of time inside and having the AC running all day and the fan can make the air a little stiff and if you have carpet like I do, you also worry about allergies!
So I was very happy to get a Crane humidifier for the ladybug’s room. Humidifiers are the best way to relieve nasal congestion during cold and flu season and this season I might add was really bad! The only down side to the humidifier is that they are not really “pretty “ to add to the rooms décor. Well that was true until Crane came up with the cutest and most fun designs you can find for the kids room.
I got the piggy for the ladybug and she loves it, I have to keep it up high because she wants to get the “peiee” every time she sees it.
One of the best features is the different settings and the auto- shut off. It makes a little noise when running that works like a white noise for the ladybug. The water tank fits in every sink in my house and is very easy to fill.
Something that you probably don’t know is:

Terrible Twos!

So the terrible twos is a fact!
I’ve been having the hardest time with the ladybug for the last couple of months and it is killing me, she has a temper tantrum every ten minutes and goes from smiles to throwing herself backwards to throwing whatever she can get a hold of.
This is a situation that worries me because I am afraid that she is going to hurt herself, I mean bumping her head on the floor can’t be good!
I asked her doctor about it, and he said it is totally normal and the best that we can do is to ignore her, which is really hard to do when she is screaming so loud that you can’t hear anything else!
I have been doing some research and apparently this is a totally normal stage and it can start any time after the first year…..Whooo!
They also recommend that you always keep in mind that this is part of the child development and she is not trying to be defiant or rebellious on purpose. She is trying to express her everyday growing independence and doesn’t have the langue skills to express her needs which frustrates her (I can understand that). That could also be the reason of the tantrums whenever she doesn’t get her way.

• having a regular routine for meals, naps, bedtime, etc. and try to stick to them each day
• offer limited choices only, like 'would you like apples or oranges for your snack' and not just 'what do you want for your snack.' This helps your toddler feel like he is making some decisions and has power over things, but he isn't able to choose unacceptable alternatives.
• learn to set limits about things and don't be surprised when your toddler tries to test those limits to see what he can get away with
• don't give in to tantrums
• begin to use time-out and taking away privileges as discipline techniques.
• provide your toddler with a safe environment that is well childproofed let her explore and play in. It really isn't fair that your toddler should get in trouble for playing with something he isn't supposed to if you left it within reach.
So one thing left to say count to ten as many times as need it !

It seems like I have less time everyday and it is so hard to keep on top of everything that I have come to love things that makes my life easier and that won’t keep me battling for I don’t know how long to do a simple task.

Does your little one use a pacifier? Mine sure does, she calls it BOBO and I definitely need to be able to find it because it can be a real catastrophe if the ladybug asks for her BOBO and you don’t give it to her immediately.
I have to say that I don’t leave the house without a couple of them if possible (yes I know she needs to stop using it, I will work on that…..In a little bit, I promise), any ways every time we go out I have the same issue.
