Space is something that I appreciate a lot especially when I have to travel with the ladybug , somehow it seems that space is never enough and don’t ask me how the bug takes up most of the space in the luggage….I still don’t get it ,but that is how it is and I have accept that fact.
I try to come up with ways to organize the luggage the best way possible without having to bring any suitcases, especially when we are flying….Extra luggage can get really pricey!
It is especially annoying when you have to go through the whole suitcase to find the hair brush and once again the tooth paste…..So I needed a small bag for the “small baby things”. I found something so much better, now I am the happy owner of a Spooneez! If you have not heard of Spooneez before , I will be more than happy to introduce you to them!

Either one is an awesome way to keep the little one’s utensils clean and in the right place when you need to feed them on the go, and once you are done with the feeding, no worries about how to clean the spoon now, no need of ziplock bags, just put them back in your Spooneez and roll up the mess (I so wish I could do the same with the baby’s room)!

When the ladybug turned 1, I started her with regular milk and shortly after that I switch her to sippy cups. I have gone through a lot of different cups and brands and some of them were OK. Some of them were impossible to use.
Now there is something else that you need to take into consideration and that is that the cups are really safe for your little one and I would say that is the most important feature I look for in a sippy cup.
Kid Basix has created the safe sippy and the safe sippy 2! This is the response to parent’s concerns about a sippy cup that is safe, practical, and durable. What makes the safe sippy different from the rest of BPA- free cups is that they are stainless.
Which makes them not only safe, but also makes them durable and really neat looking. This has to be the most stylish sippy cup out there.

Some of the reasons why we like the Safe sippy , it has handles that makes it easier for little hands not to drop the cup, the spout is round instead of square, it comes with a protective cap for the spout, and is the only sippy cup as far as I know that has different inserts. The handles are removable once a child is big enough to grip the bottle using the ribbed waist. The colorful protective sleeve provides insulation against cold liquids and acts as a cushion to protect the cup those times when the bug sends them flying. But the very best part is that all the plastic used on the cup is certified free of Bisphenol A, phthalates and DEHA. So you have a very green and cute sippy cup.
One feature I really like, is that it works like a straw cup (it actually has a straw in the inside). It took the ladybug a couple of tries to figure out that she didn’t need to tilt the cup to suck the liquid, but once she got used to it , she loved it. My one and only complaint about the safe sippy is that it is not a 100% spill proof. If tilted a slow drip comes out, but is really not that bad. Just make sure you know where cup is when your little one is using it.
These cups are a great introduction to straws since it pretty much work as one, and the different inserts are definitely a plus. One of the inserts is for when you travel and it is completely sealed to avoid any spills and since the handles comes off you can store the cups really easy while traveling.
The cups can hold 11 ounces of fluids and comes in 3 really cute colors.

You know how sometimes you have a bag that you really like, but you would have liked it even better if the strap was of this color, or the print would be this instead of that? Well with LILL STUDIO you have the chance to change things around until you get that bag that you have been looking for.
The really neat thing is that you can see all the changes you make in your “designs” as you are making them….Really neat! The first time I went the 1154 LILL STUDIO site I probably spent well over an hour “designing” some really awesome bags in different sizes and styles (I felt like when you are little and are playing dress up with your doll).

In the inside, the bag has 4 elastic bands to hold brushes, 1 wide back pocket, 2 front pockets and 4 elastic loops ( 2 on each side) perfect to keep bottles in place.

Even though I love T-Shirts, there are some occasions when I need something a little dressier. I have developed an “ I want to be comfortable” issue ever since I had the ladybug , so those times that I would wear something because it is “ cute”, even if it wasn’t comfortable are long gone.
Now I pretty much rather to wear things that are both cute and comfortable and let me tell you, sometimes that is just not easy to find! That is the reason why whenever I find a new place to get this kind of clothing, I am all over it.
Happy First online store has a great selection of comfortable but cute clothes, and the minute I started going through the different sections, I knew this was going to be one of my favorite stores. And it is. Happy First also carries baby clothing and Spa clothes that are perfect for exercising.
I received the organic butterfly tee….Talk about cute and comfortable! I was really surprise on how soft the fabric is, it feels a lot like bamboo which I love. Not to mention that it looks awesome when I put it on an as I said before I was looking for cute and comfortable and that is exactly what I got!
The tee is of a muted purple color with a beautiful butterflies design on the one side and v neck. The tee is very fresh, soft, and it looks elegant when using the right accessories with it. What I like the most about it, besides how soft it is, is that it is very versatile. Use it with jeans and is very casual , wear it with thin fabric pants and it looks more dressy, I just love it!

I have not met a mom of a little girl who doesn’t love dressing her little princess, well like a princess. If you think about it is really not our fault, they make so many cute things that we just can’t help it. I surprise myself looking at the children department every time I go shopping even when I am shopping for DH or myself.
My favorite places to get cute little girls clothes are usually on line store and a big time favorite is Speesees. Speesees clothing, is fun, is adorable, and the best part it is organic! They use 100% skal- certified organic cotton, which means that no pesticides or chemical fertilizers have been used its cultivation. Speesees fabrics are treated with low impact /herbal dyes, while the prints are made with pigments/ pvc – free plastisols. They skip the dioxitin , and formaldehyde altogether . Their super soft fabric is extra comfy for the little ones and is good for the environment……Cute, comfy and green , sounds good to me.
One of the things I like the most about speesees is that their dresses that are to die for! I especially like and got the cocoa kimono dress and OMG the bug looks just adorable in her little dress. The dress is of a dark brown color with a natural color trim and is very simple yet very stylish and the very best part, the ladybug looks really comfortable in it.
The fabric feels really fresh when touched and doesn’t get wrinkled easily. Just perfect for any occasion you want to dress up your little bug but without making her uncomfortable with her clothes, so she can look as cute as a button and still have fun.

One of the things I love about Etsy (besides the fact that everything is handmade), is that you can find things there that you can’t find easily anywhere else.
Nicaeli Designs Specializes in metal and leather accessories and décor. Nicaeli offers a very unique selection of decorative copper and brass masks, ornaments, sterling silver jewelry, and leather goods. Nicaeli uses mostly recycled leather clothing and handbags for the store creations and a mixture of colored leathers and suedes as well as permanent metallic paint to give the leather accessories a little extra kick that would definitely catch your eye.
All of Nicaeli’s items are handmade and the quality is just impressive. The first time I visited the shop I was attracted to the jewelry that is so original and unique and very different to the things you actually find in a jewelry store.
The masks, are just spectacular, you can see right away that only a very talented person can come up with such designs!
I have been looking for a new wallet( I have really small one that I love to have for every day run arounds)But I like something bigger for when I travel so I can keep all my documents and everything together.
I got the coolest wallet from Nicaeli’s shop. It is made out of blue suede with a really cute design that represents the sun to me and has apple green, purple and orange leather. And you know how I am always looking at the way things are made, I couldn’t find one single thing to complaint about this wallet.
The wallet is about 7” x 5” and is just awesome, this wallet can fit my passport, the bug’s passport , my credit cards and even a check book and after I put all that in there, the wallet still doesn’t look bulky…. Yes space is very important when you share your bag with a bug and a husband.
The wallet has 3 big pockets and 4 smaller pockets, one of them with a zipper. And the inside is lined with a flower printed fabric, which completes the look on the wallet. It also has a metal clip so you can attach it to the inside of your bag or even your pants, which can be very convenient to keep your documents at hand in an airport.

This week has been a little...Complicated trying to make sure all the winners get their prizes. Somebody emailed me and told me that it was difficult to read through the winners list,so i made a couple of changes.

When I am looking for new products to bring to the site, I love finding things that are different and unique. Something that can be really interesting and helpful. The Tend- A- Tot is definitely both. You have probably never heard of Tend- A- Tot. I didn’t until a few weeks ago and I can tell you that if you like versatility, this is a product you will love.
What is a Tent- A- Tot? It is a diaper bag, a travel tote, a convert- a –chair, a child carrier, a cover for an umbrella stroller and it can also be a shopping cart or high chair comfortable and secure cover. This invention is genius; I always like multi function products, but have never seen anything quite like this before.
The Tend- A- Tot is a really well thought out product and one of the things I like the most , is that it has a lot of space when used as a travel tote and lots of pockets that are really useful when used as a diaper bag.
It is made out of a padded fabric so it can even be used as an improvised pillow if you need to put the little down for a nap.
The belts are really secure which is awesome for a product that you can use in so many ways.
The craftsmanship is something that I always take into consideration and this product is really well made from top to bottom. It comes with a matching Mom's Clutch that can use to store your little one’s items or your own belongings and also with a matching bib and a changing pad!
My favorite feature is the convert- a – chair, you usually don’t carry a high chair around and this would pretty much be the equivalent of carrying one with you , perfect for when you are visiting friends or family or for those times that the restaurant you are at doesn’t have high chairs or are out of them.( You can use it with regular chairs).
The Tend – a Tot- comes in a great variety of styles to choose from so you will not have a problem to find one that matches your personality.
It took me a couple of tries to figure out the different positions for the Tend -a - Tot , but the Tend –a – Tot comes with a photo diagram of how to use the different positions on the Tent- a – Tot and there is also a very useful video made from the designer of this so very cool product.
The one thing I would recommend is not to put any small items at the bottom when used as a bag because it has one opening on each corner.
Some might think the price is a little high, but once you add all the money you would have to spend to get all 6 items separately, then you realize the price is not that bad at all.

It has taken me a while to get used to coupons. Until I moved here I had never known of such a thing and I have to say that I like getting them and to see the deals I can get with them.
Like yesterday I went to Publix (our local grocery chain) and they had the Kellogg’s cereals buy one get one free which was a good deal, DH and I have calculate the difference between getting them at Publix when they are on sale or getting them at Sam’s Club, and the Publix price came up a little cheaper, the big difference is that you have a lot more variety at Publix and you can mix and match.
But to make it even a better deal, they had some coupons for taking a dollar off for every two cereals you buy, so if I get 2 boxes of cereals for like 4.95 I think was the price, they will also take a dollar off from those 4.95, so end up paying about 3.95 for two full size cereal boxes, and that is a heck of a deal.

It’s not a secret I love T-Shits, I spend most of my days wearing them so every time I find a new awesome store for them it is like Christmas in July!

As I have told you all - over and over again , just how much I like things that are unique, different….and out of the ordinary and think that all those categories applies to tail wags.

Since I am basically doing something from the minute I get up till the moment I go to bed (usually past midnight); I really don’t have the time, money or even the desire to spend a day in a Spa. But I do like to take an hour or so to give myself a little “beauty time”.

The crystals are really big and thick and the scrub looks like a paste and it is really oily when you put it on, but it comes off when you dry your hands or feet (if you are using it on your hands, don’t be too hard, the crystals really do their job)!
The set also included a Peppermint /Eucalyptus hand and feet lotion that is just a bomb for tired hurting feet that is also great to prevent and help healing cracked feet and for a sandals wearing junky, that is really important:).The lotion smells like mint and is really soothing and refreshing.

The time has come! The ladybug is climbing out of her crib now so the time to change her to a bed is here. I have been “browsing “ and checking up what is out there so I can get a really cute toddler bed set and it has not been an easy task, but I found a website that has some really cute bedding sets.

I received the Paisley Twister Comforter from Girls Bedding and I LOVE IT. The comforter is made with a polka fabric and accented with minty green, the colors, the design, and very important the quality is outstanding, the fabric is 100% cotton.
The craftsmanship is impeccable and even my mother who sews and makes these kind of sets said she was really impressed with the comforter and the way it so nicely done. The pattern and color combination is exactly what you expect to find in a home décor magazine.

Natural ingredients, biodegradable, cruelty free ……Are words that get my attention right away and if you add aroma therapy… Then I am just a happy camper!
I had the chance to try some of the Mrs. Meyer’s Aroma therapeutic House hold cleaners and I have to say that the first time I did the dishes with the dish soap I seriously thought about taking a bath with it ….Yes, it smells that good!
Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Dish Soap is rich, thick and makes grease disappear like nobody's business. This concentrated formula for hand washing dishes includes Soap Bark Extract, another ingredient from the garden that is one of nature's best degreasers. Rinses clean. All you need is a squirt or two and you're on your way. I was surprised on how much you can do with a little amount of the soap.
I am always trying to save water so I run the dishwasher as little as possible and this soap is just great to hand wash the dishes and I can promise you that the smell is unlike anything you have smelled before in the kitchen…..I think this is actually the first time I enjoyed doing dishes which is I have to admit my least favorite chore.
I also tried the Baby Blossom surface Spray and let me just tell you that this is a great way to refresh the baby’s room and toys, I used it to wipe the bug’s mattress when she has a little accident and since I had a couple of (I am taking everything that is inside my diaper out) episodes this spray is awesome for cleaning up the mess and keep the house smelling clean and fresh.
This is a true story, I put the diaper balm on the bug one day that she has a little diaper rash and apparently she really liked it. A few days later she grabbed the balm and started asking me to put it on, I kept telling her no! She kept insisting and started crying, she really wanted it on , I thought she was just being….Well a bug , but then I went to change her diaper and realized that she actually had a diaper rash. So, I have to say she out smarted me that one time:). This balm is the first diaper rash balm that doesn’t have a medicine smell, it actually smells really good!
The baby shampoo was another product I received, that I kept for myself and love it! I have been having problems finding a shampoo since I moved here from Spain , for some reason my hair is getting a lot more greasy than it used to be, so when I realized that this shampoo made the trick for me I kept it and I am not sharing it:).
Leaves my hair really loose and shinny and silky. The Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Baby Shampoo contains gentle Coconut and Olive Oil surfactants and it is dermatologist –tested and I say it out loud my favorite shampoo!

When we were getting ready for the arrival of the ladybug , my mom wasn’t here and as a first time mom, I couldn’t be more lost on what I needed to get in order to be ready for the little bug, but luckily for me my MIL was here and thank goodness she was happy to help:)
We went to the store and she helped me decide on a lot of the things I needed and one of the first things she recommended was a thermometer. So I got one of those electronic ones that you put in the ear and read the temperature.
I was very happy with it until the ladybug decided she wasn’t going to let me put anything in her ears last time she was sick and I needed to take her temperature, the little bug covered both her ears and said NO! mom, NO! I think that maybe she had a little bit of an earache…..Lucky me I had received an EXERGEN TemporalScanner Infrared Thermometer.
The EXERGEN Thermometer is extremely easy to use and since you don’t have to “stick it “ anywhere , I can take the bugs temperature even before she starts to protest.
I took both thermometers and took my own temperature to see how accurate the EXERGEN was and the readings on both digital Thermometers were pretty much the same.

Which is a really cool technology and very convenient for when the little ones have an ear infection or just don’t want to cooperate with you when you are trying to take her temperature. Not to mention that it is supposed to be more accurate than ear temperature.
Why is it more accurate than ear temperature? A major reason ear thermometers are considered inaccurate by medical professionals is because the positioning of the probe in the ear canal is inconsistent, thus creating inconsistent readings and frequently missing fevers. The temporal artery thermometer scans the forehead area for the temporal artery and it is almost impossible to miss the artery during a scan. Also, the person whose temperature is being taken does not like something inserted in their ear, making good positioning even more difficult. So I am always looking for options that would allow me to let her feed herself without ruining her clothes. A few weeks ago, I received a Baggino Learner's bib. The Baggino Learner's Bib has long sleeves and an extra-long front for coverage where it is needed the most.
Some times when using some of the traditional bibs, the bug managed to take them off so her clothes ended up being a total mess and sometimes they were not long enough… But she has not been able to take the Baggino Learner’s Bib off; it is pretty much like wearing and extra long sleeve shirts but without the back:).
The Baggino bib is a great asset for babies and messy toddlers like my bug. They are made out of a very soft terry cotton fabric and look very comfortable; the bug doesn’t seem to have any problems moving around while wearing it.
As you all know I love things that are easy to take care of and this little bib is machine washable, so that is definitely a plus. It has Velcro and the cuffs are elasticized so they stay in place and don’t get in the food. They are a one size fits all and white color and decorated with a choice of color trim (dark blue, green, light blue, pink and Red). They are really cute, I only wish they will have them in other colors other than white also
