I am sure you have seen the commercials for the sleep number bed . I have seen them tons of times and have been really intrigued by their beds…..What you might not know, ( I didn’t know till now), is that they offer a lot more than their sleep number beds! Sleep number offer a wide variety of Pillows, Mattress Pads, Pillow Protectors, Bed Frames and Legs.
A few weeks ago I received a Classic Plush Blanket in a cocoa color as a sample to try for this review and since we are having some low temperatures here is the sunny Florida my blanket got here just in time for me to enjoy and snuggle with the ladybug….Now with my own blanket:).
I love soft cozy blankets, I always have and always will and this plush blanket is both super soft and cozy! It’s the kind of fabric you like to find in baby blankets, but in an adult size. The blanket is made of 100% microfiber and it is non-pilling. One of the great features that I love about this blanket is that it is not heavy , so you can use it all year without getting too warm which is exactly what I needed for my TV. Great for lounging on the sofa with the bug.
I picked the Cocoa color to match my bedroom colors, but I doubt it will actually make it to the bedroom as it is more likely to be in the living room at all times. The blanket has a sateen binding on all four sides. This gives it a really luxury and chic look, perfect to make your bed or just to snuggle up with your little bug.
One more thing that I really like about the blanket is that it has“logic” Label System, so you know exactly where to start making your bed……I love things that make my life easier and speaking of ……This blanket is machine washable, so you don’t have to spend a fortune taking it to the cleaners.

The best time to start being concerned about being protected from the UV’s? As soon as the kids are exposed to harmful rays, they should also be protected!
Most of the skin cancers developed in the United States, are mainly the result of unprotected exposure to the Sun. Coco Bonbons Children Clothing -Review and Giveaway.

I had the chance to review a really adorable outfit from a really sweet store: Coco Bonbons has a really cute full of life and color clothing line for Infants, Toddlers and Children. The Coco Bonbon is not lacking of color, prints or fun designs.
Coco Bonbons collections scream children are playful all over the different pieces of clothing that they offer you through their collection. And their current collection for the cooler weather is just adorable!
I received a long sleeves blue dress with lots of multi color flowers, hearts and swirls….. It is one of my favorite outfits right now! The dress has a waist band that ties up in the back and feels really cool to the touch. One feature that is always a favorite of mine, It is machine washable :).
To make the outfit even cutter, they sent me a matching pink and orange Bonbon tights which is two of the colors that you can find on the dress!
The best part, is that the dress is not only cute, but it also looks really comfortable which is one of my main concerns when I look for clothes for the ladybug, that is certainly not a problem with the Coco Bonbons clothing line…..Their clothes are as sweet as their name so this one store I am sure you will love as much as I do and more importantly , your little one will love the darling outfits from their store.

Holiday Gift Guide- BEARPAW Boots-Review and Giveaway.

You all know how crazy I am for shoes, but what you might not know is that if I love shoes, I absolutely go bananas for boots…….My favorite time when I lived in Spain was the winter time, just because I loved the winter clothing. I lived in the south of Spain so even though the temperatures could drop a lot, it didn’t snow, at least not where I lived.
My girl friends and I will take a whole Saturday and go boots shopping! We used to spend hours looking for boots every time the temperatures would start to drop. The boots were very stylish and really cute , but there was one common thing between all of them, the ones that were really cute were not necessarily too comfortable and the ones that were comfortable were not necessarily the cutest one. But there was one thing they had in common…..They were not exactly cheap. I could easily spend between 100-150 Euros which is about $200 US.
Not being able to wear boots in Florida, well let say I was not too happy about it……A few weeks ago I was looking for shoes and the name BEARPAW came up in the search……OMG! I was crying in the inside for not being able to wear boots around here…….But then the Ohio trip came up. YAY me Boots!
I was so happy when I contacted BEARPAW and they agreed to send me some products to review. I could not tell you how excited I was when I open the box from BEARPAW with a pair of Eva Boots, for me, another pair for the bug and a pair of Loki slippers.
The ladybug’s boots are exactly like mine except for the fact that mine are black and hers are brown, but apart from that they are exactly the same.
These boots are not only really cute, they are also extremely comfortable, I can tell you without being afraid to lie that these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, and the very best part, is that they are as cute as they are comfortable.
While the boots are genuine suede upper, they have sheepskin lining which helps regulate the body temperature to keep the foot warm. It also has a sheepskin footbed that makes the boot even softer and reduces foot fatigue…..Wearing these boots is like walking on cotton, so my idea that there was not such a thing as a comfortable boot that was also fantabulous has been totally and forever changed by BEARPAW boots!
And if I was not their number one fan yet which I totally am…..I got to try on the Loki slippers and I honestly can tell you that you will not find a cozier and more comfortable slipper than The ones made by BEARPAW.
I can’t wait for the Ohio Trip to dress the ladybug with the BEARPAW boots…….So cute matching mommy’s…….Another great thing about BEARPAW? They also have toddlers boots, infant boots and men boots so the whole family can enjoy these awesome boots!

We (meaning my husband) had use the skillet to make some really juicy and yummy steaks and to seal up a pork roast and it works heavenly. So now I can have restaurant quality meals and at the same time know that I am using a healthy and safe cookware! Then he was able to take this same pan and place it in the over on broil for 4 minutes on each side. Then take it from the oven to the table with a pot pan. With the cold weather, a desire to have a cozy snugly blanket is very present in my household ….I wanted to get a blanket that would be a little more warm than we are used to, specially for when we go up to Ohio for the Holidays. The bug likes having her own “night night” when she lays down with mommy to watch TV.
A few weeks ago I received a personalized kid blanket from Admiral Road and we, meaning the bug and I, love the blanket with its 39 x 59 inches it is big enough for the two of us to squeeze underneath and enjoy some cartoon time together.

Moms R the best. That is a truth as big as a cathedral! Tees are my big time favorites. I love finding new stores were I can get different designs…..A few weeks ago I found Moms R The Best Store and with that name, you know I had to check it out.
Mom R the best is the kind of store I love shopping from, they have a really cute “mom appreciation line” that I love and it was one those times when I kept going back and forth not being able to pick a favorite until I found the perfect T-Shirt for me....
They have a navy blue long sleeve Tee where you can read “I am a busy mom, I need a CLONE” that shirt was made for me! I mean which mom has not felt like that some time, I certainly do at least once a day!
I saw it and knew that that would be my pick….The shirt runs a little small so keep that in mind when ordering If you are looking for a loose fit.
Love the shirt, I usually don’t buy long sleeves , because living in Florida, you don’t get to wear them as often , but I had to have this one shirt and since the Ohio trip is coming this was just perfect!

White Sands Hair Care Products -Review.

I have decided that I want to improve my look and one of the first things I am taking care of is my hair ( getting back in shape is going to be a bit more complicated). I have been looking for different products to make my hair look shiny and healthy and I have been using a few hair products from White Sands.
White Sands brings you a complete line for hair care products for all types of hair and needs. Ever since I moved to Florida my hair seems to get a lot more grease than it did before, so I had to get something totally different from what I was used to.
I had the chance to review 4 different products from the White Sands store:
The Cure 24/7 which is a leave in reconstructive treatment that provides the shine that was so much needed for my hair. You can apply the treatment day or night, wet or dry. The Cure 24/7 repairs damaged hair fibers, making tresses stronger, smoother, and shinier. I love the way it smells and the fragrance that leaves in my hair not to mention that it has helped me to restore the healthy look that I had before I moved to Florida.

Since I wanted to get my hair looking as good as possible as quick as possible, I also tried the ER Fusion which is an intensive reconstructive hair treatment which restores hair back to its youthful condition. The product creates a clear micro shield to seal in color and softness, while weightless quaternaries balance and self-adjust color in the hair. A complex set of amino cystines repair damage while lemon grass extracts enhance color with a high gloss. ER Fusion’s unique delivery system ensures optimum performance and lasts 30 days after each initial use. This I started to use right after I dyed my hair and so far I love the results I am getting from it. As with the cure, it smells awesome. It reminds me of the smell of roses!
White Sands Hydrating Conditioner is a light weight crème that is working really well with my hair, it gives me the moisture that I need without making my hair look grease or sticky and leaves my thin straight hair very easy to manage, no tangled hair or knots…..I really like that.
I also had the chance to try the White Sands Hydrating Shampoo which if you read the description in their website tells you that it is for very dry hair…... Here is the tricky part, I have been using it and I have not had a problem with it, actually I really like the way it works in my hair. It ensures protection of color treated hair and neutralizes the oxidative radicals generated by daily UV exposure. Which is just awesome for my newly colored hair:).

Bamboo Baby Feng Shui Inspired Clothing for Kids-Review.

Feng Shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure the health and good fortune for people inhabiting it.

Feng means wind and shui means water. In Chinese culture wind and water are associated with good health, thus good feng shui came to mean good fortune, while bad feng shui means bad luck, or misfortune.
A few weeks ago I came across a really cute store called Bamboo Baby. Bamboo Baby has a really cute catalog that offers you Onesies and Tees that are Feng Shui inspired , that is really cute and fun for the kids.
I received the Shawn the cow which is meant for children born in the year of the ox and they are supposed to be understanding, patient, and understanding…….This was not the Ladybug’s case because she was not born in the year of ox(1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009). But she adores her ( Mooo shirt).
I received the very soft white shirt and the minute she saw it, she loved it, I had washed the Tee many times and it still looks awesome.
Even if you are not in to all the ancient art of Feng Shui, you have to love the cute designs that Baby Bamboo has to offer. Some of my favorites are of course Shawn the Cow, Natalie the pig and Del the Monkey.
And they have some of the cutest Tunics for boys and girls and that I have found! You have to check the Chocolate Moo Print….So cute!

Problems with Blogger !!!!

Is anyone else having problems with blogger?
It looks like comments are not working properly.......I am closing the giveaways that have ended and have posted some of the winners, but I am waiting to see if i can figure this out before posting the rest of the winners.

A few weeks ago I received 3 different items from Chef’n. For those of you, who don’t know this company; let me tell you a little bit about them.

It’s what drives their in-house design team to reinvent the utensils and gadgets that most of us take for granted while we’re cooking and cleaning.
The Products you find in the Chef’n catalog are simple, stylish, convenient and really easy to use!
I was able to try :
Mini Magnetic Set:
This really cute black and clear plastic tiny set of pepper and salt grinders are great for the times you are having a cook out and you want to have fresh ground salt and pepper. We love taking some food up to the pool and cook there on the grill every time we have a chance and carrying all the utensils back and forth is a real pain, but we enjoy doing it, this set is awesome for outside cooking activities.
They also have a magnet so you can “stick” your salt and pepper grinder were ever you want to keep them on hand, the ergonomic handle makes them extremely easy to use and they come filled up with peppercorns and sea salt.
Juicester: Citrus juicer with two contoured reamers, great for getting a fresh squeezed juice for breakfast. This is another great product with a clear base and orange top. Big enough to get you a cup of juice, but not too big to take too much space in your kitchen, perfect for small spaces. It has an ergonomic measuring cup, large and small contoured reamers, a very convenient anti – slid system, dual strainer metric markings and top rack dishwasher safe.
I love this green option for a juicer, what is greener than using a manpowered utensil to get your fresh juice in the morning?

The third Chef’n product and my favorite is the VeggiChop.
We love Mexican food and usually make tacos once a week , we call it taco night.
We really enjoy them and they are really easy to make the only part I don’t really enjoy is the chopping of the ingredients, I use lettuce, tomato, fresh cilantro and onions, the chopping part is what takes the most effort and makes the biggest mess.
When I tried the Veggiechop, I could not believe how easy and how fast I was able to chop all the veggies I needed and how little space (no need of a chopping board), time and effort I needed to invest when doing everything by hand, not to mention that it keeps my hands from smelling like onions!
This little invention is really versatile and you can use it to chop large pieces of vegetables, fruit, nuts, and even boneless meat…..I know this is just awesome. The best part is how easy it is to set up and even easier to use and again, only man power and very little space require to storage what is my favorite piece of “equipment” for the kitchen.

Kidorable Children Rain Clothes-Review and Giveaway.

Living in Florida I have to be prepared for a change in the weather, pretty much all the time. Well rainy days doesn’t mean that they have to be boring, actually I love rain and I am planning on teaching the bug to love the rain also, but you need to be ”rain ready” in order to enjoy it.
Whenever you need to get some rain coats, rain boots, umbrellas and all the fun stuff that you will need to have fun under the rain and yes, to be protected when you are heading to the grocery store , School or anywhere with your little one, you definitely need to check out Kidorable.

When I had the chance to review a couple of items from the Kidorable line, I did have a hard time to pick because as I said they have a ladybug……So I let the actual ladybug pick out what she wanted. She was the one who was going to wear it after all:)
I loved her choice though, she went with the lucky cat collection and I have to admit that that was one of my choices; the whole collection is just to die for…..
We received the rain coat, the matching boots and the hanger for the outfit.
The coat is made with PVC with a polyester lining and is too cute with the bright pink colors and the different characters in the front of the coat and the sleeves, the coat has snap buttons that are the center of a flower and it features a hoodie with kitty ears, now how cute is that?
When I received the coat, I noticed that it had some kind of strong smell , so I called Kidorable and they assured me that they were aware of the issue and had already taken care of it changing the whole manufacturing process. They told me to hang the coat outside and it would take care of the issue, so I did and a few days later the coat was perfectly beautiful and smell free.
The boots are just as cute as the coat and I honestly have to hide them otherwise the ladybug will be wearing the boots in the house all the long…..She doesn’t get that the rain boots are for when it is actually….Well raining. Even though I can’t really blame hair I love boots too!

Do you use flat irons on your hair?
I just received the Hana Professional Flat Iron 1.15”- Pink Edition from Misikko a few days ago and I have to say that I have discovered a new whole world of hair styling! The very stylish pink Hana Flat Iron is super light, ready to use really fast, reaches the highest temperature ( 450 degrees ) in about 55-60 seconds. It shows a solid red light while heating, and the light starts to flash once it reaches the desired temperature. It also features an independent On/Off switch. And it has five different temperature settings that go from 140- 450 degrees.
The plates glide smoothly over my hair, and love the curved plate edges which makes it easier to curl and flip my hair, which is exactly what I want to do.
The cord is extra long, and has a very convenient hanging loop, ergonomic handle designed with non-slip grip…….And if you are not already in love with the Hana flat iron , it also comes with a heat proof storage pouch to keep your flat iron protected while traveling and a thin case for easy storage and a heat proof silicone mat!
