When looking for toys for the ladybug I want to make sure that they are educational and that they will actually contribute to her development…..You can have fun and play while learning, so I love products that will help her learn while she is having fun. Baby Genius is committed to providing music-based products that are entertaining, educational and beneficial to babies and young children. They believe music makes a difference and honestly so do I!
The ladybug loves my vacuum cleaner( noise maker) and has always been fascinated by it. Now we all know that vacuum cleaners and babies are not really a good mix, so when I had the chance to pick a toy from the Baby Genius website and saw their musical vacuum I knew I had to get it for the bug.
The Musical Vacuum is one of the ladybug’s favorite toys….The minute I say I am going to use my vacuum cleaner, she flies to her room to get her own vacuum cleaner and starts “cleaning” one side of the living room while I clean the other…..The Musical Vacuum cleaner has the option to make noise like a real vacuum cleaner does, or to play Mozart….Why doesn’t my vacuum do that?
It also has lots of lights and spinning action that makes this little vacuum just a really fun toy for your little helper.
I also had the chance to try the Favorite Counting Songs DVD which is a really fun and engaging DVD with lots of animation and fun animals and scenarios that are really appealing to the little ones that that makes learning a lot more fun and easy. You can choose to have the songs played in English or Spanish which I absolutely love as we intend to teach both languages to the ladybug.
Each song focuses on a number from one to ten and they create different scenarios to use the numbers. There is a lot of singing, and action going on the DVDs and we love the little cartoon characters that guide the kids on the number learning process.
