Origany Organic Clothing- Review and Giveaway.

I have found a store that I just need to tell you all about! Origany carries some really trendy and fashion forward designs for the little divas of the house. And one of the best parts of the Origany children’s clothing collection is that their designs are made with organic cotton and some of them are made with a combination of baby alpaca and organic cotton fibers. That allows them to create a very unique weave that I am dying to get my hands on.
Origany has recently launch their Toddler girls collection and I have to say that the designs are really trendy and the color combinations are outstanding. This is definitely not the usual colors for kids that you find everywhere, which makes the Origany selection to be out of the ordinary and very unique.
I had the chance to try one of their adorable designs, the Long Sleeve Pintex dress, which is a bright emerald color and charcoal gray accents dress made with 100% certified organic cotton and low impact dyes. And LOVED the dress the minute that I saw it.
The dress is a lot cuter than what you can really appreciate in the pictures. It is really soft and has a really comfortable fit. This adorable dress can be worn by itself or with stockings or leggings and I cannot tell you how cute it looks with tall boots!
The dress features retro -style tuxexo stitching in the front and buttons in the back and a belt for the waist. The dress is beautifully designed and carefully crafted making this very sophisticated dress a must for all the little eco-friendly fashionistas.
I was told that this same dress was actually the same one that the wife of Jason Reitman (director of the movie Up in the Air, Oscar nominated for best director, and golden globe winner for best screenplay) picked up for their daughter recently in Hollywood at the Boom Boom Room.

I love chocolates and as for the ladybug…..Well more than love is an obsession! A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to try a brand of chocolates that was new to me, but I have to say it was certainly scrumptious.

Remember that great review and giveaway I had for the Good Health Natural Products? Well today I want to talk to you about their sister website called South of France and I am positive you are going to love their products as much as I did.

French Mild Lavender Soap. My mother in law LOVES lavender, so I thought I would be a good girl and give this soap to her so she can try it ……..She loved the soap! Not only does it smell great (the soap is made with a blend of lavender blossom with hints of clary sage), but she explained to me that the soap has worked wonders on her skin. She usually has a very dry skin and she told me how much more hydrated her skin is since she has been using the soap. To the point that she can not only feel the difference in her skin, but she can actually see it!
Acai Pomegranate French Mild Soap. As with the lavender this is a great soap with a very exotic fragrance and with ingredients like acai berries and pomegranate( both very popular in the making of skin products for its benefits and properties). The soap is a real treat for you and your skin.
Pure Gardenia Body wash. This is probably my favorite product, very mild and light scented the perfect touch to an enjoyable and relaxing shower. The kind of body wash that will help to keep your skin Hydrated and leave a floral sweet smell to enjoy during and after the shower.
Free of Synthetic Degreasing & Foaming Agents (no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Myreth Sulfate), Toxin Free (doesn't contain Dioxane 1,4; TEA, DEA, Urea, Propylene Glycol, Petro Chemicals, Parabans, Animal By-Products, or EDTA). I need to make some changes in the ladybug’s room décor , pretty much because she ripped off most of the wall paper that I had in her room so I need to re-do one or two things in there and while I was looking at different options and what to use for maybe a new theme, I found this really cute store on Etsy called Wall Candy and they have some of the cutest prints for kids nurseries and bedroom decoration that I have come across so far!
I had the hardest time trying to pick a print for the bug’s room, just because I loved so many of them that I kept changing my mind about which one to pick…..Ladybugs, monkeys, giraffes, cows, doggies…..The many options that Wall Candy offers you makes it really tough when it comes to making a selection.
I was really torn between the birdies, the giraffe and the monkey and then I saw the cutest and so extremely sweet owls print and I knew that I have found the print that I was looking for. The ladybug LOVES owls, but I have not found an owl print that would match the ladybug’s pink room (I’m willing to redecorate, not willing to paint). The print features an owl with two baby owls all of them in a really light blue color and standing on a branch with light pink flowers……Just perfect!( first picture on this post).
Printed on 8 by 10 archival artist paper using superior quality giclee printing, quality and impression are flawless.

A few weeks ago I came across a very interesting product, one of those gadgets that are meant to make your life easier.
Have you ever gotten something that comes in one of those hard plastic shell packages and you walk around the house trying to find something to open the package with , but refusing to ruin your scissors to do so?
I have found a very convenient gadget called the Zip- it Opener. It is as easy to open these tough packages as pressing a button and guiding the opener around the outside of the package. It is powered by two AA batteries, and holding down the button will activate the rollers to easily open most hard shell packages.
I had the chance to try the Zip -it Opener and it is really easy to operate and, yes it does the job just how you expect. And it works like a charm, really smooth and the best part is that I don’t have to worry about ruining my good pair of scissors or getting hurt trying to use a sharp knife to open the packaging that is so very common and I have to add annoying.

I love floral arrangements, I mean what woman doesn’t. I love the color and fragrance they bring to any room they are in. It is always a pleasure to look at beautiful flowers, my only problem with the flower arrangements, is that they only last what, 1-2 weeks? And then the flowers are ready to be thrown away. I had the chance to review the Luxury Reed Diffuser-Berry Berry Rose and it has these beautiful Berry Roses that are just a pleasure to look at. The set includes:

You can chose the fragrance that would be sent along with the arrangement, I received the White Tea and Ginger fragrance and I have to say that I love the soft clean fragrance that it gives to my bedroom that is where I placed the arrangement.
The arrangement is not too big, so it brings color and life to the room without taking hardly any space. The best part is that the fragrance should last a few months!

Namaste Bags and accessories-Review.

It is not a secret how much I love bags. I have been looking for a bag that is big enough for me to carry everything I need (and probably more), and that also allows me to carry anything that I may need for the ladybug so I don’t need my handbag and then a diaper bag for the little one.
There are lots of big bags out there, but a stylish big hand bag is another story….A couple of weeks ago I found just the bag I was looking for. Namaste offers you high quality animal friendly handbags in a wide array of colors.
I can’t tell you how excited I was when Namaste agree to send me one of their so very stylish bags for me to review, I had to pick one out and that was the first hard decision, the second one…The color! Their selection of colors is just perfect, all of them…… I decided I HAD to have the Hermosa bag from the Cali Collection in Olive Green
The Hermosa is the largest handbag in the Namaste collection-this bag has it all! Exterior pouches with 2 separate compartments, both of them with zipper closure; the smaller one is perfect for the cell phone so you can hear and get to it easily. The bigger pocket …..Well you pick, I have my sunglasses there right now. There is also a rear document pocket, water bottle storage ( or zippy cup), extra side pocket, and a super solid construction. The interior features 3 pockets (1 zipper pocket and 2 open-top pockets). This bag stands up on its own with 5 metal feet on the secure bottom (which I have to say is a feature I love). The Hermosa bag is a "must-have" for those who must carry it all and mommies like me that are trying to combine the handbag and the diaper bag. The Hermosa bag It’s available in 6 fabulous colors and I must say I want every single one of them.
The bag is made of a really soft leather like material, I am usually very good when it comes to knowing if something is made of leather or not and I had a really hard time picking up this one!
Namaste also offers a great variety of accessories like the BUDDY cases. These are the essential accessory for your little stuff- just bring your BUDDY along to tote your personal, crafting, or travel notions so you'll never be without. The BUDDY case features hidden magnetized interior walls to keep your metal items in place, a removable interior divider, and is made of the lush animal-friendly faux leather that you've come to expect. Contrast stitching, solid construction, and snap button……I did not receive the sample for this product and this description is from the Namaste website, but after seeing the quality of the bag they sent me I am very confident that this is also a great quality product and since they have the cases in the same color as my bag, I am definitely in need to get the matching case.
I realized that my bag had a little defect , one of the screws that goes on the handles was a little out, so I contacted Namaste and they immediately replaced the bag. I have been using the new bag for a few weeks now and it is just my favorite bag right now. I love dealing with companies which such great customer service.
As for the Namaste store I have added them to my favorite stores list and I have to admit that I have my eyes on a couple( actually 4 )of their products and I am planning to visit the store often so as to keep posted on their new products!

I also received a Suction Bowl and if I liked the CaliBowl, I have to say that I totally LOVE the Suction Bowl which features a suction foot that keeps the bowl in place and is the just great for the younger kids to self feed. What makes the bowl my absolute favorite, is the fact that it has a lid that closes tightly and is great for taking on trips and that is exactly what I did when I went to Ohio.
I gave the bowl to the ladybug to eat from it while we were driving and I closed the lid when she was done, and just put the food away for the next time she wanted something to eat…..Speaking about convenient! I have left the bowl in the car for several days with some cereal in it, and I was convinced that I was going to need to throw the cereal away, I tried just out of curiosity and was very surprised to find out that the cereal was as good as the first day, true is that it was really cold down there, but I think that the fact that the bowl closes so tightly, helped keeping the cereal fresh.

Pipila Portable Pacifier Sanitizer-Review

I have no idea how many times I have found myself in a situation where the ladybug has dropped her pacifier and I have no way to sanitize it…..I can tell you it is not a fun situation especially because it seems that after dropping her pacifier, she realizes that she wants it even more and having a bug screaming for her “bobo” is not a walk in the park.
Then there is also the fact that she drops her pacifiers about anywhere inside the house. So I like to get them and sanitize them every now and then, just to make sure they are germ free. I usually just dump them in the dishwasher, but then I don’t run the dishwasher every day, besides I am concerned that the high temperature on the dishwasher will deteriorate the pacifiers.
A few weeks ago I was sent a free sample of a very innovative product called Pipila. The Pipila is a portable pacifier sanitizer that is shaped as a ball with a base small enough that the round part fits in my hand.

The Pipila is very portable, it can fit anywhere such as the diaper bag or even your purse, and it is really convenient to know that you have a way to sanitize your little one’s pacifier in case you need it.

I always like products that are both useful and versatile and the B blanket from the Rain or Shine Kids store is exactly that kind of product. The blanket comes in 3 different and really cute designs. It has a water resistant backing to help you to keep your little one from getting wet in those occasions that you need some extra protection against the rain.
The cozy blanket features ribbon ties to keep the blanket in place and can be tied to the stroller, the baby carriers, and slings, and can even be used as a nursing cover if needed……See what I meant by versatile?
The blanket is made of polar fleece and rip stop backing…..I was able to try the rings b-blanket with it’s neutral color design with beige, cream and brown colors in the design that can be used for either girls or boys and that is a must have when you are going on a long trip and you know the kids are going to fall asleep in the car seat.
Every time the ladybug would fall sleep in the car seat, her blanket would end up on the car floor and if I was the only one in the car, I couldn’t reach back to cover her….But since the b-blanket has straps, I can actually tie it up to the car seat and make sure that the blanket will stay where it is supposed to be: covering my little bug.
I did not have this on my trip to Ohio, which I would have loved to….It was cold up there, so I had a little blanket that I put on the ladybug as we were strolling around and I had to keep picking up the blanket from the floor which was driving me nuts because of all the germs we were picking up on the streets, but it was too cold to get rid of the blanket! So this new blanket would have worked perfect.
It is also a really good emergency changing mat if you don’t want to lay your little one on a public bathroom changing table, the b-blanket will serve as a barrier between the table and the baby.
I love the b-blanket and it is my official stay in the car blanket to make sure it is always at hand….And another great feature is that it is really easy to wash…..I like that.

I want to share a really scrumptious website with you. A couple of weeks ago I received some samples of caramel from a company called Amella Artisan Cocoa Butter Caramels….I had never heard of cocoa butter caramels ever before have you?
I have no idea who came up with the idea of making cocoa butter caramels but I have to say that whoever that person was had the best idea EVER!
The caramels come in packs of three and they have 3 different flavors:
Black Forest Cocoa Butter Caramels. The caramel is made with dark chocolate (chocolate liquor, sugar, cocoa, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavor), cherries, corn syrup, evaporated milk (milk, dipotassium phosphate, carrageenan, vitamin d3), sugar, cream, unsalted butter, salt, ground vanilla. And the flavor is very unique and, perfect for people who like to try things that are different in a really good way. The caramel ingredients are preservative-free with 0% Trans fat.
Passion Fruit Cocoa Butter Caramels. This very exotic and also very unique caramel, has a little bit of the tropics in the ingredients with the use of the passion fruit Amella has been able to create the perfect combination between sweet with a hint of the sour taste of the passion fruit. The ingredients are preservative-free with 0% trans fat.
And my very favorite flavor is the Carrot Cake Cocoa Butter Caramels. These caramels are by far the best I’ve had, not too sweet and with a very soft and unique taste….The flavors combination on these caramels are just perfect and it is one of those things of which you can’t just eat one! I am not what you would call “a big user” when it comes to makeup, I hate to feel my face stiff with makeup so I hardly use anything….But then I have come to find out about mineral makeup foundations that are light and silky ….. And that have ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Both have inherent sun protection factors and anti-inflammatory properties. Definitely interested to try some of this kind of makeup.
Eve Organics Avoids toxic ingredients in their products such as: dyes, lakes, synthetic fragrance, bismuth oxychloride, talc, parabens, sulfates, UREA, and others. When I learned about the products they offer I was immediately interested in seeing if they are all that Eve Organics claim them to be.
I was able to try the Creme Brulee Foundation - O2 and I have to say that I was extremely pleased with the results, the foundation is really light , so that I could not really tell that I as wearing anything on my face, at the same time it provided me with an even mate finish . That looks great and the best part is that I was actually very comfortable while wearing it.
I also tried the Tinted Setting Powder although not necessary, the setting powders are a great addition to mineral makeup use. After all other makeup application is complete, which for me is basically the foundation and every now and then eye shadows( which I am developing a real love for) Eve Organics setting powders dusted as a finishing touch are extremely absorbent and an extra plus for oily skin or humid weather like the Florida weather.
Eve organic offers products for all skin types and something that I loved about this site , is that everything is vegan and they tell you the percent of organic ingredients in their products. And if you are not sure what those ingredients are , they have a dictionary so you can do your own little research!
Even after applying the setting powders, the mineral makeup is still very light and makes the whole makeup wearing experience actually pleasant, especially after looking at the results on the mirror.
To get a really fresh and light makeup all I needed was the foundation, the setting powders, a eye liner, mascara and a bit of lipstick…..Makeup time….Probably 5 minutes and even though I shouldn’t say it , it looks great!
