I love macadamia nuts, but I did not know that you can use these delicious nuts to create some of the best hair products I have had the chance to try so far…..A few weeks ago I was asked if I would like to try some of the products from an online store called macadamiahair.com.

I was sent 4 different products to try:
Nourishing Leave-In Cream: There is one word to describe this leave in cream and that is awesome!
I have been using it for the last few weeks and love the results I get with it. My hair looks really shinny and healthy , and I love the soft smell that it leaves on my hair, but the real test was to treat the ladybug’s wild hair….I have told you before, my daughter has really thin hair that tends to curl….everywhere , so trying to keep those curls under control is certainly not an easy task, plus I have noticed that her hair looked less shiney and not really healthy, so I decided to try this on her and OMG! I couldn’t belive the difference it made and how quickly her hair looked healthier than it was before I started using the leave- In cream on her. I Love this product!
Healing Oil Treatment. After Trying the leave –In cream I didn’t think They could actually make anything better….But I was wrong , with just a couple of drops after the leave in conditioner and my hair gets as smooth as it’s never been before. This treatment is just incredible and the scent in this oil is amazing! It leaves my hair smelling clean and looking great, and if that is not enough, both products have UV protection!
Healing Oil Infused Comb. This is a unique comb has a blend of the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment with a specially formulated resin for a detangler that is infused with their special oil. I found it especially good for long hair.
And last but not least, I had the chance to try the 1.0 oz sample of the Deep Repair Masque and if you need a deep treatment to re-store your hair’s health I will recommend this as the first step and keep the treatment with the leave-in conditioner and the oil for ultimate results. bee well wishes- Review and Giveaway.

Are you the kind of person that likes super cute super comfortable pajamas and sleeping clothes? Then you need to know about the Bee Well Wishes store. Bee Well Wishes if you have not guessed it yet has a bee theme for the clothing and accessories line that is just adorable and so very comfortable .
Bee well wishes are a really cute and very comfortable line, but what caught my attention the most about the store was the history of the beginning of this adorable site and the great concept behind the bee well wishes.
At first I thought the name was a really cute and great way to call attention to the store, after I read about how it all started, (yes I will share that with you). The name made even more sense and gives a whole new definition of what bee well wishes means.
Back in 2007, the owner of bee well wishes owner found out that she had a tumor, a benign Meningioma. If you know anything about tumors, it’s a “good” kind to have (if there is such thing). However, it happened to be located at her brain stem and wrapped around nerves 1-12. Nerves that control things like eyesight, swallowing, speaking, hearing, facial muscles, tongue control, and necessary things like that. So, not a good place to have it.
She had to wait until she delivered her baby girl before doing anything about it. While recovering from surgery, she received lots of presents and get well wishes from friends and family. Most of them sent food and flowers, but she had a feeding tube so she couldn’t really eat the food sent to her and her husband is allergic to flowers, so they had to take those outside.
From all the presents she received, there was one that came from a friend that was in a wheelchair from suffering an aneurysm……A pair of pajamas, that was a present she could actually enjoy and that is how the bee well wishes idea was born.
I spent most of my pregnancy in bed so I can totally relate to what she felt when she was in bed recovering from surgery. This is a great story and the resulting products coming from her experience are just awesome.
Comfortable and extremely cute are the words that come to my mind when I think about the bee well wishes pajamas and sleep shirts.

I am a morning person…….At least I am once I have had my morning Coffee! I love coffee but I am really picky on what coffee I drink. I usually get my coffee from the Dominican Republic, and have drank one or two from here when I have run out.

Bloume Baby- Review.

I had the chance to try one of the many wooden toys offered at Bloume Baby, a Xylophone made by Plan toys. The first thing I noticed and absolutely love is the very elegant and cute box that it came in and then the quality that you expect from all the Plan Toys.
The Xylophone has become one of the ladybug’s favorite toys. The quality is outstanding, the bug can be very rough some times, but the Xylophone is as good as it was when I first got it a few weeks ago. Made from non- toxic, natural materials, it is Chemical free and made from kiln-dried recycled rubberwood and with based non-toxic ink and E-Zero glue.
I have seen many metal Xylophones, but this one is entirely wood which makes it more durable and resistant , but also makes it a really cute toy, the kind you can pass along to younger siblings.

As a very busy mom of a very active little girl, sometimes I need a little help to go through my day and since there is only so much coke and coffee a body can take and keep without having a meltdown. Belle Baby Carriers- Review and Giveaway.

I have tried many different baby carriers and some of them have really been cute, but I don’t think I have found any baby carrier as adorable as the Belle Orange Blossom Baby Carrier! The Orange Blossom is part of the Belle classic line and made from their cappuccino fabric, a strong upholstery grade microsuede in medium-hued beige. It features a gorgeous panel of delicate and beautiful flowers embroidered on a deep orange microsuede background. The inside liner is dark brown teddy bear fur which is really soft.
I love the colors and the material of the baby carrier, but the part I like the most is the quality and the craftsmanship on the carrier. The buckles on the Orange Blossom carrier are the same as those used on high-end outdoor backpacks, the stainless steel rings they used on the waist band are really thick and sturdy , I also like the fact that the shoulder straps have some padding which is always a nice thing that makes the carrier, more comfortable.
One feature I loved about this carrier, is that it comes with a detachable head support for the younger babies (the carrier suits babies 8-30lbs), the head support is made of the same cappuccino microsuede and brown inside liner as the carrier and is definitely a great tool that would make the carrier suitable for the tiny ones when using it with the head rest and then without it when the baby is a little older.
The carrier can be machine or hand washed and the fabrics are 100% polyester. The carrier design is really simple and elegant and it doesn’t have intricate mechanisms so it is actually really easy to adjust and set up.
What is the best thing about the Belle carriers? The Independent waistbelt which brings weight down to your hips instead of shoulders and that is something that someone with back issues like me definitely can appreciate. The Orange Blossom is just one of the many adorable designs that you can find at Belle baby carriers and they even offer a selection of organic carriers!

Verilux- UV-C Lighting Products- Review anf Giveaway.

I had the chance to try one of these very innovative products, the Clean Wave UV-C Sanitizing Wand which according to Verilux can to eliminate up to 99.9 % of viruses including the H1N1, and bacteria like MRSA with the use of UV-C light. It also claims to kill germs, molds and dust mite and flea eggs on surfaces in your home.
Having the ability to sanitize your home to such an extent is certainly something that I can appreciate.
The wand comes with a rechargeable battery that you can charge through the adapter that is included with the wand and it takes about 13-14 hours to be fully charged. Setting up the wand and installing the battery is really easy and can be done in just a couple of minutes at the most. The wand features a LED light that is red while charging and turns green when charged.
After the first time you fully charge the device, the charging time goes down to about 8 hours and you can use the wand for about 1 ½ hours before it needs to be recharged.
Using the wand is very easy , all you need to do is turn it on and hold the wand close to the surface you want to sanitize and let the UV-C Light do its job.
There are different sanitizing times for the different surfaces you might want to sanitize and time goes from 12 seconds to eight minutes depending on the size of the surface, but do not worry , all times are specified in the manual so you will have no problem knowing how long you need to sanitize the different items in your house.
Having something like this to sanitize the ladybug’s toys and bedroom is certainly a great peace of mind and since the wand is also a way to killing dust mites, it is a great thing to have for people like DH that suffers from allergies.

You can even add a roll of paper or use sheets of different sizes…..Did I said versatile? It includes two adorable “coloring-book” scenes to use as backdrops when the easel is in puppet theater mode.
Great quality and the best part is that is that it folds flat which makes it a lot easier for storage and living in a condo like I do, this is a very important feature even though I have not been able to put it away once ever since it got here. It is one if the ladybugs favorite “toys”. The craftsmanship is outstanding and it actually looks so good that as I mentioned before it is part of my living room furniture right now.

SPIbelt- Review.

One thing about going to the gym or going jogging that I am not really crazy about, is the fact that I can’t really have my keys, carry an ID or even money when I am wearing gym clothing and that can be a bit of a pain sometimes.
I have found a product that I honestly think is just genius. The SPIbelt is a belt with a small pouch that at first sight , when its empty it is as wide as the belt itself, but it actually has an expandable belt in which you can keep small items such as your cell phone, keys and yes, also some money or credit card.
I have to admit that the first time I saw the belt, I had my doubts about the functionality of the belt, but after placing the items I think I would need while exercising (my phone and keys ) with no problems at all and still has some free space available in the small pouch, I have completely fallen in love with this little and so helpful tool.
The best part is that unlike the traditional money pouches I have seen before, the Spy belt is really thin and not bulky at all. So I am still comfortable while exercising and have the peace of mind of carrying my things that I need around with me without worrying about misplacing them or having them stolen.

Zoobie Pets - Review and Giveaway.

While looking for different children’s room decoration products, I came across a very particular website……Zoobies. Zoobies were created by two young brothers who shared a similar desire to invent something for kids that was fun, innovative, and functional. And that is exactly what these two brothers have achieved with their adorable Zoobies.
Zoobies are the perfect combination between a plush toy and a very soft blanket……And we all know that those are two favorites among the little ones. The Zoobies are extremely easy to use by just unfastening the Velcro latches and your Zoobies goes from a huggable toy to a soft pillow and if you unzip the zippers at the bottom, then it becomes a really soft blanket!
The fold up process is really easy and can pretty much be done in three steps, the Zoobies comes with instructions on how to fold them back up in case you have any problems finding the way of how to do it by yourself.
The selection of the adorable little animals makes it close to impossible to pick only one favorite.
When I had the chance to pick one of the Zoobies for the ladybug, I had a real hard time deciding, so I let her choose a Zoobie and she decided she wanted Jafaru the Giraffe and I have to say that she made a great choice, the little guy is just adorable!
There are many occasions in which a Zoobie would be a great companion and traveling in the car is just one of them. The Zoobies remind me of those little lovies for babies but in a bigger scale.
Zoobies are great for decorating the kid’s room and the best part is that you can actually use it not only for decorating your kid’s bed, dresser or night stand, but also to keep your little one warm and cozy….This is definitely a great product and an awesome baby shower or birthday present. Zoobies can be found at different retailers across the country and in their online store.

K-NEX Construction Sets- Review and Giveaway. 10 Different sets for one winner.

Have you heard about a company named K-NEX? I would love to introduce to this great company if you haven’t and maybe give you a little more information about them if you already know about them.
K-NEX offers you an awesome array of block designs for kids ages 2 and up! The ladybug always loved blocks and that is a love that hasn’t died but instead has grown as she gets older, and I have to admit that I really like the fact that she does…. I really believe that blocks are a great way to help the little one to develop different skills like imagination, pretend play and construction of different figures .
I had the chance to try for a review of the K- NEX blocks, some of the sets they sent me were for the ladybug and the rest for my 10 year old nephew.
I have one word for the K-NEX Sesame Street character’s blocks: Adorable and if you allow me I will include the adjective awesome too! The different characters are just too cute and the very best part , is that they are actually very easy to put together ! Yes, I was able to build the Cookie Monster and Ernie with the help of my little bug…YAY me!
The Sesame Street K-NEX Characters are cute enough that I have actually considered getting the rest of the collection and set them up on top of the ladybugs dresser as part of her room decoration.
The sets for the older kids can be really intricate and lots of fun , with many small pieces to get the designs together is a great way to get the kids to exercise their imagination. What a great idea to keep them away from the computers and video games and have them do an activity that is a great mind an concentration exercise and most of them will not  require any batteries or power supply.
I Love the many different designs that they have to offer which I have to say can be a real project even a team project to put together……A great activity to do and spend time with the kids.
