You might remember that delicious review and giveaway we had a couple of months ago from Heidi Heavenly Cookies…. Well just in case you were not around then, let me tell you about these mouthwatering scrumptious cookies!
These are gourmet cookies that are made with no preservatives and that are as they said in their own website…..sinfully delicious…..And that is so very true, that I didn’t want to be tempted because I had already tried them before and I know how addictive they are, so I was a very good girl and gave them to my mother and father in-law who just had their birthdays a few days ago…….They did open the cookies at our home, so you know I had to have one……..Or two…..LOL. The minute they tried the cookies, they became fans of Heidi’s cookies!
I received the Heavenly Sunshine Cookie box and it is certainly a beautiful little package, the box includes:

As I mentioned before there are no preservatives used in the cookies, so they recommend to eat the cookies within two days or to freeze them…….I have not had to freeze them and for what I heard my in-laws didn’t have to either ….They were all gone by the two days period and it easy to understand, these gourmet cookies are a mix of lush chocolates of the sweetest variety, inviting fragrant raspberry infused into dark chocolate, cookies with clouds of marshmallows, macaroons with tropical sweet coconut, oatmeal raisin cookies with sweet moist raisins and the taste of pure sweetness of English Toffee Candy on a decadent chocolate chip cookie, hungry yet?

A couple of months ago I did a review and giveaway for Sleep number that was a total success. Seven Simple Ways to Get a Better Night’s Sleep

According to the National Sleep Foundation, more than 150 million Americans – almost half the population of the United States – say they are not getting enough sleep. Reasons range from back pain to restlessness to job stress to sleep disorders. For many others, their mattress is the culprit robbing them of quality sleep. Approximately 40 million Americans suffer from sleeping disorders including insomnia, sleep apnea, etc. (If you suspect you have a sleeping disorder, seek out your physician’s advice.)

Another reason Americans are not getting enough sleep is because they don’t make it a priority. During my years of conducting sleep research, I’ve heard sleep called a waste of time, unproductive, and a luxury. We know what time the alarm will go off each morning, yet each night Americans try to squeeze-in more projects and tasks. Or, many people have good intentions and are in bed for eight hours, but they sleep poorly because of poor lifestyle choices or inappropriate sleep conditions.

Here are seven simple ways to help you sleep better:
1. Minimize light
Darkness acts as a signal to the body to prepare for sleep. Dim the lights one hour before bedtime, keep blinds closed, and if that isn’t enough, consider room-darkening shades or drapes.

2. Keep noise levels constant
Abrupt changes in noise levels can disrupt sleep. For light sleepers or those who live in high-traffic areas, consider using a white-noise machine to muffle sounds.

3. Control bedroom temperature
The ideal room temperature for sleeping is 65 degrees and 65 percent humidity. Thermostats can be programmed to automatically adjust to this temperature.

4. Maintain a “screen-free zone” in the bedroom
Watching television or working on the computer stimulates the brain and may make it difficult to fall asleep. Do not leave the television on on while sleeping either.

5. Keep a regular schedule and bedtime routine
A brief pre-bed routine signals to the body it’s time to unwind. Choose simple, stress-free activities such reading a book or doing a few stretches. Avoid switching bed times and wake times on the weekend; it will make the Monday back-to-work adjustment extremely tough.

6. Avoid food, exercise, caffeine and alcohol before bed
Exercise stimulates the body and increases body temperature, which is counterproductive to sleep. A big meal before bedtime also competes with sleep. The body needs at least an hour to recover from exercise or meals before bedtime. Caffeine has a half-life of about six hours, so afternoon beverages should be caffeine-free; otherwise, the caffeine left in the body will impede sleep. And while alcohol may help people feel sleepy, their sleep tends to be more fragmented and less rejuvenating overall.

7. Choose bedding that fits the needs of both sleep partners
Skip the one-size-fits-all approach. Comfort can be personalized. Choose beds and bedding accessories that fit preferred sleeping positions and are proven to improve sleep quality, like the Sleep Number beds or bedding accessories, which are available at Sleep Number stores across the country.

Hot days are here and with the hot days……… that means time to wear Sandals and open shoes and clogs! I have not owned a pair of clogs in quite a long time, but I know that they are back in style and they are as popular as ever and you can find a really wide variety of designs.
A few weeks ago I found a store called Garden Clogs.com and I have to say that I have not seen more colorful and original designs than the ones offered by Garden Clogs. I had the chance to try a pair of their clogs and was honestly very surprised on how very comfortable the clogs actually are.
Garden Clogs by Jolly offer open heel clogs which are imported from Germany made from 100% CFC-free Polyurethane Foam. They are light, flexible, and waterproof and are offered in the same traditional design as the famous wooden shoes or fashion style design.
The colors are really bold and bright and statement makers and if you are looking for a head turner, then you need to check their picture clogs!
The shoes as I said are very comfortable and great for those occasions when you want to wear comfortable slip on shoes. I love those for quick change when you need to run an errand and need to put something on really quickly……I keep them in my front door.

I have recently had the chance to try a couple of makeup products from a company called Pixi Beauty. If you have been reading my blog , you will know that I am makeup challenged. Because of this, I am extremely picky on what I use for makeup, so I just love it when I find a brand that works for me..
I was sent :
The Eye Bright Liner (nude) is a whitening brightener to use on lower inner eye rim for instant awake looking eyes. And you don’t know this, but thanks to genes from my dad’s side of the family, I tend to get dark circles under my eyes and to the fact that I wear glasses 24/7 since I was six doesn’t help. I get these really annoying dark circles, which often give me that tired look so I would take all the extra help I can to get my eyes looking brighter and this certainly does a really good job for me.
The eye liner is water proof, paraben –free, oil- free, and suitable for most sensitive eyes and since the eyes are so delicate, this is a great feature. One other thing I really like about it is that it is really easy to apply, but stays on really good.
Fairy Light Solo : I love the little one color eye shadows for the convenience factor that they’re easy for storage. It makes it easy for me to carry it around and specially because a lot of the time when i get a set, there is one or two colors that I am not really crazy about, but I have to get because I like the other colors on the set. This means you end up buying something that most likely you will never wear! That being said the Fairy Light Solo is treatment mineral eye shadows to brighten and lift eyes. This is great for me for the exact same reasons I just mentioned and since its Fragrance-free and Paraben-free: This is one of my favorite makeup tools right now.
And last but not least I received the Pale Pink Glow Lip Booster. Ok so what woman doesn’t appreciate her lips looking a little more full and plump? I do and this is a great way to maximize lip gloss.
They assure to instantly treat and restore lip vitality. It provides maximum hydration and helps restore collagen, adding volume to improve lip contour. It improves lip fullness by 40%, decreases lines 30% and improves lip moisture 60%. I don’t know about you, but I am all for that.
I also love the fact that you can wear it by itself or with your favorite lipstick (I might change the shade a bit as it has a light pink color). Since most of my lipsticks are actually pink, I love the effect I get with the Lip Booster.

I think I have mentioned before how annoying it is for me to write down my address when I am sending mass mails for whatever occasion to friends and family members. So when I had the chance to review one of the products from the mommypads&more website, I almost had to pick one of their really cute return address stamps.
The selection is really wide and the different designs are certainly very cute. I picked the Randle style and the quality is outstanding. The stamp got here really quick and I have been using the stamp ever since and couldn’t be happier with it.
The stamps are just one of the many products offered in the mommypads&more website. One of their signature products is the mommy pads which are a great tool for busy moms that need to keep on top of everything…..Sounds familiar?

A few weeks ago I found this website called lipo in a box, and with that name, you know It got my attention right away! Lipo in a Box is a Brand of Woman's Shapewear sold in their online store: www.lipoinabox.com and www.amazon.com. I was sent two different products to try:
The Vivien Convertible Go2Bra from Lipo in a Box. My back issues are even worse lately, so I‘ve been having a really hard time finding bras that would look good and be comfortable at the same time and this bra has certainly accomplished exactly that.
The bra is not only very comfortable, but it also lifts those areas that need to be lifted! Great for everyday needs, you can wear it with the traditional wide set. For halter style tops or dresses, use the halter strap.... for T-back tank tops, set the straps on inside loop on the back wing. For criss-cross tops or dresses, just criss-cross your traditional straps. Our search is over...A versatile bra for sure and the best part is that I can wear many different clothing styles without the need to buy a different bra for each one of them.
I also had the chance to try the Bodysuit with Legs With Underwire. Let me tell you something that happened to me…..I was going out with DH and I had in my mind what I was going to wear…..A top and a really cute pair of dress pants that I had bought a few months ago. I was getting ready when I realized that the pants are now too tight!
I was already running late and had no time to start looking for new clothes, so I decided to give the bodysuit a try….I could not believe that I was actually able to fit in my pants! And look good in them. YAY me!

Who is missing Calico Critters Card Game Review.

So the rain is here and with the rain comes a lot of days where we’re stuck inside the house. Everyone who has a small kid knows how….entertaining that can be if you don’t have the right things to keep the little ones busy while they have to be inside the house.
I had the chance to try a game that has become one of the ladybugs favorite activities when we are inside the house, rain or shine! The “Who is missing” Calico Card Game features those adorable Calico Critters and there are a few different games that you can play with the cards plus the ones that you can make up yourself.
The game is meant for ages 3 and up, this classic card game involves memory, strategy, and of course lots of fun and imagination (you will not believe the things we have come up with playing with the cards).
To play the game, the dealer deals out 5 cards in a row. Players hide their eyes while the dealer takes away a card. Who can remember which critters are missing? The ladybug is not even 3 yet so we play the game our way….One thing I can tell you is that we do enjoy making all kinds of games and stories with the cards!

I am and always will be an Etsy fan, I love the unique and one of kind products that you can find on Etsy and the fact that all items are handmade makes it even better. And the Twillypop store sells precisely that kind of unique and one of a kind products that I am talking about.
The twillypop store has a really cute selection of handmade necklaces and being a crafter myself, I was immediately drawn to the pieces in their store. The products are beautifully crafted and the workmanship is impeccable, which is something I always consider when buying any handmade product.
I received one of the very cute twillypop necklaces that they sell at their Etsy store. The necklace is made with a black ribbon and white pearls beads, the waves design is really unique and it is the first time I have seen something like these adorable necklaces.
The necklace is made with 3/8” grosgrain ribbon which in my case I picked black, but can be made in many other colors and waved and decorated with a bead on each wave, creating a design that is really simple and yet attractive at the same time. This would make for a great accessory for many different outfit styles, the selection on the twillypop store is wide and all products have a common denominator which is good taste.
