I was able to try the Cleo dress in Blue Haze and this dress is as comfortable as can be and totally adorable. Who says that cute and comfortable can’t go hand in hand? The dress has wide straps and a cross-front bodice, with reverse white tie-dye on the hem. I Love the design which is very flattering and totally love the color.
And they also sent me the really cute Lola Sport Top. With criss-cross straps, shirred bodice and built-in bra this top is great to exercise in or to wear under an open shirt….Me, I am planning to wear it to the pool this summer. The different prints on this design makes an absolute must have in a solid color or one of the bold prints it comes in. Did I mention that is also very comfortable and looks awesome?

I wore the Navy/White SlimDress to go to lunch with the in-laws and then go straight to the beach without feeling out of place. I spent all afternoon playing with the ladybug in the sand and felt great about myself at the same time. This classic and modest dress can be worn for swim wear or active wear.

I have mentioned many times about my back issues and if any of you suffer from back problems, then you will know that when you spend some time standing up, your back doesn’t appreciate it…..I cook from scratch and that means that I do spend a good amount of time in front of the stove….And again after a while standing up, my back starts to act up…..

So I received a 3’x 2’ mat that I have placed in front of my stove and I have to say that I love the non slip features, but above all I have really noticed a difference with my back. I love the results I am getting from this mat, and I have actually have been thinking about getting another one.
3 x 2 is just the perfect size for a small place like mine, you can use them in many different places where you need to be standing up like the kitchen, the laundry room or any other room you might needed…..I wish they would have something like this when I worked in the hotel!

Goblin Kids Toys- Review and Giveaway.

I am always on the lookout for websites that offer durable, safe, educational toys for kids and I honestly get really excited each time I come across a store that meets that criteria, and that is exactly the case with the Goblin Kids store.
Goblin Kids offers you an amazing selection of wooden toys, furniture and room décor and of course dolls and stuffed toys for the little ones to love and enjoy. The toys are further crafted in a way that they encourage the imagination, creativity, and development of fine motor skills that is so important to each age group. I am always trying to encourage the ladybug’s imagination, so this is certainly the kind of toys I am interested in getting for my little lady.
I had the chance to try the Large Threading & Lacing Game from Vilac and the game consists of 6 wooden threading animals ( camel, lion, tiger, lion, elephant and a giraffe), the game is intended for kids 3+ and helps the kids to improve their motor skills and I have to say that the game looks very simple, but is actually a lot of fun for the little ones. The ladybug totally loves it and she is not quite able to do the threading just yet, but likes mommy to help her do it.
She has also came up with different games that she plays with the animals and one of them is even a card game….I know, that is what I call imagination! We also play a game to name each animal (she is really good she names 4 out of the 6…..She keeps calling the zebra a seahorse!).
We also match the threads with the color matching animal…..As I have said we have lots of fun with it! One more thing I really like about this game is the fact that it comes with a box to keep the animals and the cords in.

I had neglected my lips long enough that they were beyond dry…To the point that smiling actually hurt…I know , that is bad, so you will understand that I was more than willing to try this products and see if they would give me the result I was looking for.
I use the Pevonia combination at night before going to bed. After the first night that I started to use the products I could tell the difference. My lips health was visibly improved and felt…….better than they have in a long time.
They were definitely more hydrated and they look a lot better also, and that was after just one night! Hapari Swimsuit- 85.00 Gift Certificate Giveaway.

So the summer days are here and living in Florida they are going to be HOT. DH is giving the ladybug swimming classes and they are going up to the pool at least once a week, so I am expecting to spend a lot of time in the pool in the next few months……So I need a bathing suit!
I have lost 14 pounds in the last month and a half, but even though I am definitely not ready for a bikini, I want a bathing suit that is sexy without being too revealing and that I can feel comfortable wearing…..Well DH has been on my case about getting a swimsuit but I kept postponing buying one until last Sunday. We spent the day at a water park for the ladybug’s birthday and I wore Capri pants and a polo.
I realized that I couldn’t postpone it any longer and started searching for a swimsuit…….Hapari has some of the cutest swimsuits I have been able to find. The Hapari Tankinis are not only very attractive, but they are equally modest; a really hard combination to find. The more I look at the different designs, the more I realize that these are what I have been looking for this summer.
Love the different designs, the prints and the sassy color combinations. And, I especially love the variety in the designs that would let me choose between a V neck, round neck or even a square cut top…..Not to mention that these Tankinis would look awesome if you have a Bo Dereck figure or what I call an after baby figure.
The hard part now is to decide which one to pick, I have a few favorites:

So the summer days are here and living in Florida they are going to be HOT. DH is giving the ladybug swimming classes and they are going up to the pool at least once a week, so I am expecting to spend a lot of time in the pool in the next few months……So I need a bathing suit!
I have lost 14 pounds in the last month and a half, but even though I am definitely not ready for a bikini, I want a bathing suit that is sexy without being too revealing and that I can feel comfortable wearing…..Well DH has been on my case about getting a swimsuit but I kept postponing buying one until last Sunday. We spent the day at a water park for the ladybug’s birthday and I wore Capri pants and a polo.
I realized that I couldn’t postpone it any longer and started searching for a swimsuit…….Hapari has some of the cutest swimsuits I have been able to find. The Hapari Tankinis are not only very attractive, but they are equally modest; a really hard combination to find. The more I look at the different designs, the more I realize that these are what I have been looking for this summer.
Love the different designs, the prints and the sassy color combinations. And, I especially love the variety in the designs that would let me choose between a V neck, round neck or even a square cut top…..Not to mention that these Tankinis would look awesome if you have a Bo Dereck figure or what I call an after baby figure.
The hard part now is to decide which one to pick, I have a few favorites:

I still don’t know which one to choose…..I love them all! And they also have bikinis for those lucky ones that can wear one!

Looking for a Wicker Chest!
I have been looking for a nice wicker chest that is not sinfully expensive, but it is harder than I thought. Then, I remembered that CSN Stores has one of the biggest selection of….Basically anything that I have seen. I have been browsing their website and even though I was looking for a chest, I couldn’t help but take a look around and loved their bathroom vanity selection…….Maybe I can convince DH of a little bathroom renovation…..

Rileyroos Baby Shoes- Review and Giveaway.

I am and always will be very picky when it comes to choosing my shoes and even more so when it comes to baby shoes for the very simple reason that I want to promote the healthy development of such an important part of the body as the feet are.
I have recently had the chance to try a pair of shoes from Rileyroos shoes and I would like to talk to you a little bit about the company:
Rileyroos’ design inspiration comes from a combination of European fashion trends and American spirit and casualness. They designed the line to imitate barefoot walking and to protect little feet. The sole of a Rileyroos shoe is flexible and its rubber-padded sole curls above the toes to provide leverage as a child begins crawling. Unlike many heavy or bulky first walking shoes, Rileyroos’ lightweight construction and protective bottoms support a child’s foot as he or she starts walking and provides traction to prevent falls on slippery surfaces.
I was given the chance to pick a pair of shoes from the different designs offered by Rileyroos which I have to say are just adorable and among a few favorites was the Quinn design which I picked in a navy blue color for my baby nephew.
A modern spin on the classic penny loafer –The shoe’s uppers are crafted of soft leather with white stitching that makes shoes even more attractive. Designed to imitate barefoot walking, these shoes have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect little feet. The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking.
The shoes are extremely light weight and feature Velcro closure which makes the process of putting on and take off the shoes a lot easier and when you are dealing with a very active non cooperative little one that is definitely a plus. One of my very favorite features of the shoe is the design on the soles that provides the little ones with a better grip.
The shoes are really comfortable and I can tell you that my nephew loved them…..How do I know? Well, he was jumping up and down when I put the shoes on……So I have to say that he did like them.
The craftsmanship and the quality in the material used on the shoes is outstanding and is the kind of shoes I would be confident to get for my baby girl or my baby nephew in this case. Shoe sizes range from 3 to 24 months.

Justice Juels Handmade Jewelry -Review and Giveaway.

I am a definite fan of handmade jewelry and I am always looking to find stores that offer high quality products that are also attractive. A few weeks ago I found a store called Justice Jeuels and the name caught my attention right away, and when I saw the different pieces they have in the website, I knew I had found a great store. I then found out what the Justice Juels stands for, and then I was certain this was going to be a favorite.
Justice Juels was founded by Chelsea Dischinger, a stay-at-home mom who had a desire to make a difference with her life. Once she learned about the horrific Human Trafficking Industry she decided to start a company to support her family and help raise money for this cause. Justice Juels is a for-profit company who donates more than 50% of their profits to organizations who are involved in the fight to abolish Human Trafficking worldwide.
Each piece of jewelry is hand-made with the finest materials and can be custom ordered in various sizes, styles and colors. Specializing in custom jewelry the options are endless. Do you have a favorite dress that you need the perfect necklace to match? You can send them a picture of the dress and they will make a custom necklace for you. Did you see a design you really liked but could not afford it? Send them a picture and they will make something similar for a fraction of the price.
It is like having your own jewelry designer! The designs offered in the justice juels are modern, sassy and very tasteful with prices that are unbeatable. It is actually a great deal and at the same time it is for a great cause…..I love the idea that the money I use to get myself a piece of jewelry is also the same money that would go to help people in great need….
I had the chance to review the Hammered Necklace and love it. The pendant is a little smaller than what it appears on the picture which makes it very modern without being obnoxious. I absolutely love it and it is a great accessory for many different outfit styles. It looks awesome with a low cut top and jeans, the perfect accessory for every day wear. They also have the matching earrings if you want to make it a set.

Faber-Castell and Creativity for Kids- Paint by Number- Review and Giveaway.

A few months ago I did a review for one of the many products that Faber-Castell offers for young kids. The Hallowing Shrinky Dinks were a hit in my house, so when a few weeks ago they asked me if I was interested in doing a review on a new product, I immediately said yes!
Faber-Castell's Paint by Number is a great way to promote your kid’s creativity and artistic side. These guided art activities are also a great activity for those days that the kids will be indoors and you want to keep them away from the TV.
The set features:

• Foam Mounting Board 10.5 in x 10.5 in

And as with my previous experience with the Faber Castell products , the experience was very enjoyable. The ladybug is too young for this kind of activity (recommended age is 8 -98) and since I am in that age range, I decided to do the project myself with some help of my little bug….We had a great time doing it and even though the painting may have ended up a little messy and with colors in places they were not supposed to be, we loved it!
