Kelly Moore Clark have been a photographer for over 12 years, she also spends much of her time teaching workshops for photographers. About three years ago, she started sketching and dreaming about having a handbag/lens bag line of her own. As a photographer and a woman, she was always left wanting more when it came to her options for a stylish, functional bag that she could use to carry her equipment while she photographed. She sat down and made a wish list of everything that she wanted in a great bag, and now 3 years later, her wish list has come to life in the form of beautiful bags that combine style and functionality.
If you have been reading my blog you know that bags are one of my big weaknesses, what you do not know is that I have been toying with the idea of taking photography classes and delving into the amazing world of photography. These bags are the bags to carry the photography gear around. Now I know what you might be thinking…..That is great, but I am not a photographer. Here is the beauty of these bags. You do not need to be a photographer to love them and use them, as the dividers inside the bags are removable so you can actually use them as a regular purse, and even a really nice diaper bag…..I know!
I found the Kelly Moore website a few weeks ago and I was immediately in love with the different designs and colors offered in the different Kelly Moore collections. I had the chance to review the Kelly Moore Classic Bag | Muted Teal and I have to say I had a really hard time trying to decide which bag and color to pick, but I finally decided for this classic and elegant design and I am so happy of my choice color and design!
The bag features Fast and Easy Magnetic Snaps that leaves you full access to every corner of the bag. Photographers need quick and easy entrance availability for their appropriate lens, cords, flashes, but is also a nice feature when you are trying find something inside your bag. Think makeup, wipes, or pacifier for the mom on the go.
One of my favorite features is how many pockets the bag has. I do not know about you, but I like keeping my bag organized and pockets is the best way to do just so. The bag has two big front pockets with magnetic snaps, two side pockets, and a zippered pocket in the bag (no inside pockets).
The Kelly Moore Classic bag is water resistant and it is intended to withstand approximately 14 lbs of product/item weight. The bag is very versatile and has a wide adjustable strap, so that it can be worn cross body (messenger style) or it can be shortened to be worn under your arm, this is another great feature on this bag as a lot of times you cannot find this specific feature in some bags.
I have only used the bag as a regular bag so far as I still have to acquire my photography gear, but it works perfect and I have to say that it has been a great addition to my wardrobe. The bag retails for 199.00 $ and it is available in a variety of colors.
