As you all know, I am always on the look for new products and have been really interested in trying some of the Eddie Bauer products and had the opportunity to do just so when I was presented with the opportunity to review the Play Yard from The Eddie Bauer’s new Fairview Collection. That includes a high chair, travel system and of course the play yard!

The Eddie Bauer Fairview Play Yard can also be used as a bassinet and features a built-in changing station and features gender neutral color which is nice if you are planning to have more kids or have one, pregnant and do not know what the next baby is going to be.

There are many neat features on this play yard including ten different songs and sounds to keep the little ones entertained, 2-speed vibration, and a nightlight. The play yard has 3 different modes of use that includes bassinet mode, changing station mode, and of course the play yard mode.

The Play Yard from The Eddie Bauer’s new Fairview Collection is a little on the heavy side, but it is really easy to set up. It is actually a lot easier to setup than a lot of other play pens I have owned or tried. The play pen has a double Velcro closure for the mattress that is in a lighter color (kind of like a light green/ yellow) and the back was with most play pens in made of wood. There is Velcro on the back of the “mattress” to keep it in place. The set comes with a travel case with zipper and handles to facilitate carrying the play yard when on the go.

The play pen is actually spacious and sturdy. One feature I absolutely love on this play pen is the fact that it is on wheels (back side) which can be locked to keep it in place and it stays in place very nicely….I tried it on the carpet and the tile floors and have to say the lock works very good and since the set is a little heavy, the wheels make it a lot easier to move around.

You will see a pocket with three compartments in one of the sides which is great to keep baby’s necessities handy at all times. The changer holds baby wipes container and diapers. The set features a full-size bassinet, and soft mesh sides for breathability and visibility, so you can see your little one from all angles. The night light is also a nice touch.
