This is week 30 in the Nutrisystem blogger program. As you all know, I have been on Nutrisystem for several weeks now and I could not be happier with the results I am getting from the program. This week was not a good week though, for some reason I have been really anxious and I have mentioned before I am a stress eater which has caused me to slip on my diet this week….The delicious chocolate covered strawberries I got from DH didn’t help either…I can’t stay away from those when I have them in the fridge. We also had a couple of family get- together this week, so I was really not looking forward to weighing myself today….To my surprise, I managed to stay at the same weight I was at last week, which keeps me at 7 lbs away from my 30 lbs goal. I think it’s important to note that even if you slip up and don’t lose weight or even gain a pound or two during a week, that you focus and keep to the process that will definitely show results in the long run.
So to ensure I get back on track, I have already planned my complete menu for next week and will try to cut back on coffee…stress and coffee does not go good together. I am also trying to find my way back to the gym. The boxing classes are suspended for now and it has been just really hard for me to go back to the gym, even though I started a new exercise routine at home that I really like.
Water as usual has proven to be a very essential part of the diet program. I find that it is easier to stay away from food if I drink all the water I am supposed to drink everyday which can be a bit challenging when I am at work, but I have been trying to keep up with my water intake!
I know I have said this before, but I can’t help but to rave about the chocolate protein shakes and the trail mix bar… The trail mix bars are part of the lunch menu and I love them. Not only are they very convenient for when you are on the go, but I find that they are all I need during lunch and since they have a chocolate layer, I don’t crave for any sweets after eating my trail mix bar…I could pretty much have that for lunch every single day!
