Born 2 Impress Tech Event- iBallz iPad Harness and Case Review and Giveaway

I am always looking for new ways to protect my tech gadgets and specially my ipad. I have tried many different cases , and sleeves, but nothing like iBallz…..I found their site a couple of weeks ago and thought their designs were really original and out of the ordinary and wanted to see the iBallz up close!

The concept of iBallz came about in January 2010 when a couple of friends (Derek & Lee) went snowboarding and killed time on the chairlift rides between runs by joking around about the crazy hype surrounding Apple’s iPad announcement, which had been made earlier that morning. They knew right away that the iPad would change everything and since both of them were longtime technology enthusiasts and admittedly klutzy, their first idea was to create an iPad accessory that would protect against drops & spills without covering up the slick Apple design that everyone loves so much.
I thought the iBallz were a really fun design and have to say that I was very impressed with the videos testing the products which I will add to this post ( I did not drop my own ipad to test it though). The design of the iBalls is really simple and it is really easy to install.
The iBallz are basically four shock-absorbing balls ( one for each corner), the balls are connected by a stretchy cord that can be easily adjusted. The Iballz provides your iPad with great drop protection without adding weight or concealing your iPad and this is precisely the features that make this product so different from any product of its kind that I have tried before. The iBallz are available in different colors and two different sizes, the iBallz Original and the iBallz mini. The iBallz retails for 19.995 and can be used by itself or with one of the cases or sleeves (sold separately).
I also had the chance to try the iBallz Hard Case which is specially design for the iBallz harness and adds some really nice protection when you are on the go and need to have your iPad in a bag or suitcase. The iBallz Hard Case is a  lightweight molded  sleeve with zipper closure that is black in the outside and a soft aqua blue  lining in the inside  and the,three-sided zipper  closure to keep your ipad safely inside the case. The iBallz Hard Case retails for 3495. The case  adds some volume to the iPad, but it is very little and it is still great to have in a backpack …Thin and light, really nice and versatile.
