Born 2 Impress Tech Event- InfraShine Curling Iron Review and Giveaway

Now that I am back to the working world, I am taking better care of my physical appearance and I am always looking for new products to achieve this goal. To me, your hair is very important and I truly believe that it is part of the frame of your face. I am always more than happy to try new hair products and tools and I have recently had the chance to try the one-inch curling iron from InfraShine.

InfraShine Spring Curling Irons use only real ceramic infused barrels that are powder coated and highly polished for the ultimate in smoothness. They also feature PTFC heaters, which were originally designed by the NASA space program. With this new technology these PTFC heating elements work like a brick oven and hold in moisture. Using less wattage and electrical current, the gentle infrared ray-radiant heat with the ceramic multi-layered PTFC heating elements creates negative ions that close the cuticle layer, smooth and defrizz even the coarsest hair adding controlled curls, waves or bends where desired along with unbelievable shine.

You can see the quality on the curling iron as soon as you get it out of the box. The yellow colored curling iron is perfect for making picture perfect curls and while I have straight thin hair, the ladybug has curly hair. While I wouldn’t use a curling iron on her on a daily basis, this is great for special occasions like my cousin’s weeding in a few months (she is a flower girl).

The curling iron is available in three different sizes: ¾” , 1” and 1 ¼” and as I mentioned before, my review is on the 1”. While the unit is meant for professionals, it is really easy to use. It heats up really quick and adjust to 6 different temperature settings that goes from 170 to 360 degrees. If you like me are not an expert on using this kind of hair tool, I would recommend you to start with the low setting and work your way up as you get used to using the curling iron … even though the high tech ceramic -plate rod is meant to create and distribute the heat evenly so the unit does not over heat and damage your hair.

The power switch pulsates when the unit reaches the chosen setting. The built in stand makes the curling iron stable and keep you from ruining any surfaces you have the unit on. One thing I really like on my hair tools are long cords so I can move around as I need it and with a 9ft heavy duty cord this curling iron certainly meets that requirement. 

The unit is energy efficient and FAR- the Infrared heat locks in color and moisture from the inside to promote silky shiny hair and eliminate frizz.

I have found the curling iron easy to use and it has the perfect size to create soft natural, bouncing curls and that is exactly what I needed from this curling iron. Retail price 220.00.
