I have been looking for a nice set of speakers for my laptop and by nice I mean good quality sound and volume without the need to kill my budget. After doing a good amount of research I found Olasonic……The first thing that got my attention was the sharp, clean, modern design of the unit that is available in either white or black and thanks to the elimination of the power transformer and adoption of a non-laminated molded plastic cabinet that requires no paint or resin, it has enabled designers to greatly reduce the environmental impact which is also a plus in my book.

The Olasonic TW-S7 USB Powered Speaker System is meant to use at home or on the go with practically any Windows or Macintosh desktop, laptop or notebook computer. While the design is not the smallest you will find in the market, it is small enough not to take up too much space while you are on the go.

The speakers connect to each other with a plug and then to your computer through an USB connector…Extremely easy to set up as all need to do is plug the two different connector and you are all set. I must say that I have not expected the volume that came out of the unit that I have to add exceeded my expectations.

The unit is very user friendly and you can actually control the volume and settings through the controls on your computer/iTunes . The sound quality and volume is certainly more than I have expected specially after trying other devices of the same type and not getting even close to the performance obtained from the Olasonic TW- S7 USB Powered Speaker System. The TW-S7 employs direct transfer of digital audio signals over the USB interface to lessen added noise and distortion in order to reveal the complete potential for a personal computer to provide high-fidelity sound reproduction. The Olasonic TW-S7, requires no electrical outlet; delivers 10W+10W output on USB bus power alone and features passive radiator that provides deep bass reproduction,


The egg shape design is not only very sharp and modern, is also the reason why the Olasonic can deliver the quality sound reproduction it delivers. The speaker set comes with High Quality silicone Insulator Stands that absorb base vibration, and allow you to change the angle of orientation on the speakers to ensure a great stereo listening environment.

According to Olasonic the great performance on these speakers is due in part because the TW-S7 employs an acoustically ideal elliptical cabinet design that not only provides greater strength than a box-shaped speaker of the same size but also eliminates standing waves and “box-ring”. By eliminating the need for insulation, the TW-S7 achieves higher efficiency through greater effective use of space.
These are great user friendly speakers with a great design, awesome sound delivery, and very affordable price point, the Olasonic TW-S7 is a great addition to your laptop sound system.
