Zarbee's Cough Syrup and All-Natural Cough and Sleep Drink - Review and Giveaway.

Closed.

Many things came along when the ladybug started school the least appreciated is for sure the constant colds that she seems to get on a regular basis ….I have taken her to the doctor a couple of times since the school year started and even though she seems to be doing better ( her colds are not as bad), they are still a common thing in our household….The medication the doctor gave me for her makes her whiney and cranky….Not a really good combination, especially when she has to be in school.
Then I was given the chance to try an alternative to the medicine we had at home that was really not working out for us!

Zarbee’s was developed by one of the country’s top pediatricians, Zak Zarbock, M.D. In 2008, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) found it unsafe for parents to give any of the current children’s cough syrups to kids under the age of four. This left parents struggling with what to give their coughing child. As a pediatrician and father himself, Dr. Zarbock was frustrated that he was not able to offer any relief to his young patients with coughs or sore throats. He set out to create a safe and effective natural remedy that he could feel good about recommending to parents. That led to Dr. Zarbock’s discovery of a compelling clinical trial showing buckwheat honey was more effective at calming coughs and sore throats in children and young adults. A few short months later, Zarbees Cough Syrup was born: the first natural, safe and effective cough syrup for children 12 months and older.

I had the chance to try the Zarbee's all-natural nighttime children’s cough and sleep drink that comes in three different flavors and I had the chance to try the grapes flavor. One thing I have to say is that it is really hard to get my daughter to take any medicine and anything that comes from the pharmacy has to be flavored so she can even take it.

As with any new medicine, it was a challenge to get her to try it, but she seems to have gotten used to it really quick and did not put up a fight whenever it was time to take her medicine. Better yet it acts really fast and helps her with her cough and sore throat. Unlike the other medicine I was using, Zarbee's does not change the bugs mood or make her drowsy. Zarbee's keeps the ingredients simple enough for you to read. It has no need for chemicals, drugs, alcohol or dyes. Zarbee's is 100% all-natural and that is certainly something I love about this cough syrup. The recommended age for the syrup is 12+ plus.

The second product I tried was the Zarbees All- Natural Childrens Cough and  Sleep Drink – Grape which can be prepared the same way you prepare a tea….Just add the content of the package to warm/hot water and stir…..This product can actually be used for kids 2 + and adults.
This took a little more convincing for the ladybug to take, but after she did, she slept like a baby all night long for the first time in days as it is night time when she seems to have the hardest time with the cough whenever she is sick.

What can I say, I love both products and could see a difference right after she started taking both the  All -Natural Childrens Cough and  Sleep Drink and the cough syrup. The Zarbees all-natural nighttime children’s cough and sleep drink has  .5 mg of melatonin to promote healthy sleep. Both products contain honey and can be found at the Zarbee’s website and selected retailers including Walgreens and CVS!
