In 1965, Sportif USA began as a small business in Southern California, directed by John G. Kirsch. Kirsch sold tennis shorts from the back of the family's station wagon, progressively building a name for quality and comfort clothing. As this reputation grew, so did the market for high-quality outdoor clothing. 2005 marked the company’s 40th anniversary, an event celebrated with exciting new opportunities and adventures.

 Most notably, Sportif announced the launch of its new women’s line. Aventura Clothing has the mission to “help the earth… one garment at a time.” They want to provide their customers with trendy “eco-friendly” products that will lower our ecologic footprint on the planet. Over 80% of this casual lifestyle apparel is made from environmentally friendly fabrics so you can feel good about looking great!

 The Aventura catalog has a very attractive selection of eco-friendly products made with my all-time favorite, rayon made from bamboo, organic cotton and recycled polyester. With young and relaxed clothing that cry comfort all over. I was recently given the opportunity to try the Aventura Schaffer Organic Cotton Dress which features a V-neckline with gathered bust. The classic fit on this dress makes it both comfortable and flattering at the same time…not too loose not to tight, just perfect to make this dress one of those pieces you call wear all day and stay comfortable and feminine.

 The dress has wide straps, so you can wear it with different bra styles. The dress is made with 100% organic cotton slub jersey and it is really nice and soft to the touch. The dress has a really nice length also, just below my knees which add to the whole comfort sense of the dress.

The fabric is very breathable……Great for hot humid weather like what we have here in Florida. You can also dress up your Schaffer dress by adding a light short jacket. The dress which I received in the dragonfly option which is a teal color is decorated with a flower design on the bottom of the dress that makes this dress even more adorable and appealing.
