Born 2 Impress Summer Must Have Products- PonyUp Kentucky Handbag Review and Giveaway

It is not a secret that I have a passion for handbags. But, what you might not know is that I love animals even more than I love a beautiful handbag….So when I found the gorgeous PonyUp Kentucky bags I was hooked, but it was the cause behind the brand that made me a true fan!

 Rallie McAllister, MD, MPH, founded PonyUP! Kentucky in order to raise money for horse rescue operations. As Rallie explored for the perfect fundraising product, she was also searching for a handbag that reflected her love of horses and equestrian gear. PonyUp Kentucky offers an amazing selection of handbags that includes Equestrian Messengers, Tote Bags, Travel Bags, Hobos, Tshirts, and even books all of them with the same equestrian feel.

 I was given the opportunity to review one of their adorable hobo bags and while it was not an easy choice because all of their bag look great, I fell in love with one of their new designs, the Infinity in Natural Sweet Pleats Petite Hobo, ( first picture on this post).

 I have reviewed many different purses styles and designs but nothing quite like this bag. One of the reasons is because of their signature leather halter that is actually the handbag’s shoulder strap and what make this beautiful bag a one of a kind. The shoulder strap  is made from the headstall of a genuine leather horse halter, featuring a single personalized brass nameplate and fitted with the traditional brass buckles and brass swivel snaps on each side. Like a halter, the shoulder strap features five hole-punches on each end so that its length can be adjusted by moving the buckles.

The attention paid to detail and the craftsmanship on the bag is simply outstanding. These bags are truly very unique and you do not even need to be a horse person to see how well made and beautiful the bag is.

 The Infinity in Natural Sweet Pleats Petite Hobo is made with high-end embroidered faux leather that looks amazing and honestly pretty much like real leather. The bags are handmade in the US and have a little stamp in the inside lining stating so.

 On the outside the bag features different size and color circles all in earth tones that I can’t help but love. The inside lining is made of a satin fabric in a copper color that matches perfectly with the rest of the colors in the bag. 

Infinity in Natural Sweet Pleats Petite Hobo is decorated with golden accents and while on the hand strap of my bag you can read the company name, you actually have the option to engrave any name of your choice on their bags. The bag also features a button magnetic closure along with a small inside pocket and a second zippered pocket also in the inside. 
 

Another thing to love about these bags is that you can detach the brass swivel snaps at the end of the shoulder strap from the brass grommets on the sides of the handbag for cleaning or to use your shoulder strap with another PonyUP! Kentucky handbag and the prize is about half when you buy the bag without the strap!

The Infinity bag also came with a key chain that says I love Horse rescue on one side and PonyUp! Kentucky on the other side staying true to the company’s belief of supporting horse rescue! Proceeds from the sales of these handbags benefit retired and rescued horses in need. Every item you purchase at the PonyUP! Kentucky website ships for free—always.
