Every summer I like to do a little makeover in our place, re-organize and get rid of a lot of things. This year I wanted to give our living room a different look and for that little project I was really happy to count on Mohawk Home for help as they have a wide selection of rug designs.

You can transform any room in your home instantly with one of their luxurious, chic, and durable area rugs. And that is exactly what I wanted to do….I decided to go with the Mohawk Home Victorine Jet Black 5 ft. 3 in. x 7 ft. 6 in. Area Rug. This beautiful rug features olefin construction and a black color to give a distinctive touch to your decor.

The color mix on this rug is a great source of color for any room you decide to place the rug in. The color along with the design on the rug gives it an outstanding look and as I said this rug can easily become the center of attention in any room. The Mohawk Home Victorine Jet Black 5 ft. 3 in. x 7 ft. 6 in. Area Rug has a glossy sheen that enhances the look…..It reminds me of the designs I frequently saw while I lived in Europe.

The rug is made with high quality material. The rug features woven Olefin® construction (Olefin fiber is a synthetic fiber made from a polyolefin, such as polypropylene or polyethylene. It is used in the manufacture of various textiles as well as clothing, upholstery, wallpaper, ropes, and vehicle interiors. : Definition from Wikipedia). I own another rug from Mohawk, actually my in-laws also have a really nice rug from Mohawk and in both cases I was really impressed with the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail in the rugs. Especially mine which features abstract block and circle graphics with a mix of earth tones and green that are perfect to brighten up and modernize any room.

The rug does not have slip-resistant backing, so I will highly recommend adding one. This specific design has for some reason been discontinued, but there are many different other Mohawk designs that you can get at different retailers across the country.
