Sweetsation Therapy was born in 2008, with the collaboration of two of the USA based labs and a team of chemists, aromatherapists, and dermatologists. Their products are organic and natural treatments that look great, feel great, and smell great, and therefore they make you feel good. I found the brand just a few weeks ago and was immediately interested in their product catalog and specially so for the Svelte PRO Supercharged Organic Anti-Cellulite Treatment with L'Carnitine and CoQ10 and their Phyto Lite Anti Cellulite Smoothing Body Scrub with Caffeine and Paprika. The Phyto*Lite Anti Cellulite Smoothing Body Scrub with Caffeine and Paprika is very lightly scented…It has a really nice citrus smell that is very refreshing and invigorating.

The Phyto Lite scrub is a blend of sugar and salt enhanced with a plethora of not only skin smoothing ingredients but also flub busting extracts that melts quickly in your skin as you apply the scrub (you want to step away from the reach of the shower so you can work on your massage) ….I have concentrated all my efforts in the tummy area as I think it is the one are I need to work on the most in terms of cellulite; It is summer and a tone tummy is a great thing to have this season.

So I use the scrub 2-3 times a week and do a little circular massage for as long as I have the scrub crystals, after rinsing off the scrub. I am left with a light oily feeling on the skin that keeps some of that great smell of the scrub. According to the Sweet Sensation site the blend of Caffeine, Ivy, Horsetail, Paprika, Butchers broom, Bladderwrack and Horse chestnut are well known to draw out toxins proven to increase circulation and also improve skin tone, therefore fighting cellulite. I can tell you that my skin feels great each time I use the scrub.

 The other product I received from Sweetsation Therapy is the second step for the anti- cellulite treatment and it is called Svelte PRO Supercharged Organic Anti-Cellulite Treatment with L’Carnitine and CoQ10 which has the same light scent as the body scrub and it is a great supplement for the two step anti-cellulite routine.

An interesting piece of information I found in the Sweetsation Therapy website: Why do we get it? Cellulite results from an excess storage of fat in the deeper skin layers beneath the connective tissue. As a result the skin gets uneven, loses elasticity and dimples occur. Inactive lifestyle, poor diet and lack of exercise intensifies the stagnancy of fat cells and makes the problem worse.  I have been applying both the scrub and the Svelte Pro cream for a few weeks now and I have been able to see an improvement in the appearance of my skin….It seems to me that the treatment helps to increase the elasticity of the skin giving it a more even look and as a result I have noticed a more healthy skin on my stomach…One thing I also learned from their site and thought was very interesting and definitely worth sharing is that your body will only burn fat when it has none in the bloodstream, so it is a good thing to keep in mind!

I have to say that I am very pleased with the results I have seen and I am looking forward to see what the final outcome will be.
