Born 2 Impress Summer Must Have Products- Barbar Hair Tools 1" Flat Iron Review and Giveaway

I found Barbar a couple of years ago while looking for a powerful hair dryer for my mom, she has long thick hair that goes all the way down to her waist. To dry all that hair, you need a hair dryer that is really powerful, otherwise, she might have to spend about an hour drying her hair. After checking the hair dryers that they offer, I thought I might have found a good hair dryer for my mom.

 I reviewed the Barbar Italy 3800 Ionic Charger Blow Dryer and till this day this is the hair dryer my mom uses and loves!

 I was very excited to have the chance to try the BARBAR BAR-2400-1 ”. This ceramic flat iron features a Ionic charger, digital LED temperature display, Power output 80 Watts - 150Watts, MCH ceramic heater, and a really nice long and strong cable that allows you to move around while styling your hair. The BARBAR BAR-2400-1” is rated for a voltage: 110 Volts, and heats to 420 F, but it can also be used internationally as it has works on 220 volts also.  This is a really nice feature as Europe uses 220 volts and if you are planning a trip there, you ordinarily need a converter so you do not blow out your electronic devices and hair tool….So if you are able to use this either place, it is one less thing to worry about while on the go!

 The flat iron also features a digital LED temperature display. One thing I really like about this unit is that it has 3 buttons on the side. One of them has a circle which you press for a few seconds to turn on the unit; as soon as you do you will that the unit is preset to 180 degrees and you see the numbers on the digital LED display increase very rapidly as the temperature goes up and reach the 180 ( you can stop it at any time if you want to by using the arrow buttons) …..This unit heats up really fast and you can increase the temperature on the plates.

You can raise the temperature by using the arrows on the side of the unit if you want it higher than the pre-set 180. The plates run through your hair really smooth and are nice in helping you avoid burning and damaging your hair.

Please note that a red light comes on when you plug in the hair straighter, but the unit will not start heating up until you actually press that button with the circle that I have mentioned before. Once again I am very pleased with the Barbar product which is a continuation of the great experience I had with their hair drier!
