Born 2 Impress Summer Must Have Products- Gel Haute Nail Polish Kit Review and Giveaway

When I started working, I had to change my wardrobe, changed my hair style , revamped my accessories collection….The Business world can be tough and the way you present yourself is extremely important, so I knew that my face and hands are also part of my body that need to be well taken care of…Now if you do your nails on a regular basis , then you will know how expensive this can be, not to mention that for a working mom , finding the time to get the nails done is certainly not that easy.

You will probably remember the Luminess Air Airbrush Makeup….I did a review for them a few months ago. Well they have recently launched another great product called Gel Haute Polish and I was really happy to have the chance to try this new product. Gel Haute Polish offers salon results without leaving the convenience of your home.

This polish provides a picture-perfect finish that lasts up to 3 weeks. I have not used mine for that long, but I can tell you this: with how active I am, I usually need to change my nail polish every three days….The GHP I have changed every week because I wanted to change the color, not because the nails have chipped or come off .

Gel Haute Nail Polish offers two different starter kits, the Elite Kit and the Pro Kit. I received the Elite Kit for this review, the Elite kit includes: Elite LED Light, Base Coat, Nail Polish Color Cup Cake, Top Coat, Remover, and Nail Cleanser and d has a retail price of 69.00. Using GHP is as easy as painting your nails.

The first step is to apply the bottom coat, place your nails under the UV lamp (it turns off by itself), and then apply the color of choice…..GHP has close to 100 different shades to choose from. After applying the nail polish, place the nails under the light, repeat step two if needed and then apply the top coat and place under the light once more.

After applying all the coats and using the lights, I noticed that my nails were not dry and were kind of sticky, so I checked the instructions which recommended wiping the nails with the cleanser included in the kit and that did the trick! One thing that I was worried about was taking off the polish as I know how hard it is to get rid of some of these types of products and I was concerned about damaging the nails, but this was not the case with the GHP.


 To remove the polish all you need to do is soak a cotton ball with the GHP polish remover and fold it with aluminum foil one finger at a time and you will see the polish come off really easy as it pretty much just disintegrates…. You are even able to keep up with your daily tasks as normal….I love this as I thought I was going to have to sit down and just wait.

The kit has all you need to have salon quality nails at a great price. This is certainly a product worth having. Since the Gel Haute Polish is so easy to apply you can use it on your toe nails as well. The lamp works with 2 AA batteries not included with the kit. As soon as you set the topcoat you are immediately ready to carry on with your busy life.
