Born 2 Impress Everything Home Event- Verilux SmartLamp Review and Giveaway

 The company offers a wide range of home, office, and travel products engineered to improve vision, help alleviate the symptoms of seasonal light changes, aid in sleeping, sanitize surfaces without the use of chemicals, and clear and rejuvenate the skin. I am always very interested in lighting technology and products of these types and was really excited to have the chance to review the SmartLight Lamp for Learning from Verilux.

 We have some really nice glass lamps in our place and while they are really fashionable, they do not really provide me with what I consider a proper illumination… I work a lot on my computer and I wear glasses all day long…If I do not have the proper amount of light I get very tired eyes and sometimes even a headache (and I am sure that people that do not wear glasses have the same problem).

So this lamp was a really nice addition to my work space that can actually be pretty much anywhere in the house and very often my bedroom.

The Lamp neck extends to 26.5 inches so you can position it in different angles which allows me to get the exact illumination I need in the right spot . The lamp has a sturdy 8.0” x 6.25” base, with a 15”H in a 90º position, 26.5” extended, the cord is about 6 ft and the lamp weighs about 4.75 lbs….The lamps is really easy to set up, the bulbs are not installed, all you need to do to get your lamp ready is to plug in the Natural Spectrum bulb that comes with the lamp….Just make sure there are no gaps when you install your bulb or the lamp will not work.

The best part is that you not only get the light directly were you need it, but you get no glare which helps you avoid tired eyes…One thing I can’t help but to love about this lamp, is the amount of light you get ….I seriously did not expect such a great amount of illumination from the SmartLight Lamp for Learning from Verilux (this lamp is designed with Verilux’s patented Natural Spectrum® Daylight, a type of full spectrum lighting that replicates key wavelengths of natural daylight).

 This is a great lamp for home, dorms and offices, the SmartLight Lamp for Learning from Verilux has a retail price of 39.95 and it is available in either black or white.
