I am sure I have mentioned before that my mom is staying with us and she will stay with us for a few months. She is very particular when it comes to her drinking water and she would not drink the water from the fridge (yes we have a water filter in the fridge). She doesn’t like the taste in the water, so whenever she is staying with us, we need to get bottled water which is an extra expense we don’t need to incur, not to mentioned that I am not a fan of water bottles because of the environmental aspect…….Not good for the landfills!

The Zuvo Water Filtration System can be installed in any kitchen either above the counter or below. If your faucet is not compatible with the Zuvo System, you are better off with an under the counter system that comes with a faucet specifically for your Zuvo Water Filtration System.

The faucet can be purchased in different finishes to match your needs and décor and you need to either order the complete set that includes the faucet, or order the faucet kits separately.

The Zuvo System is really easy to install and very easy to use also.  You simply push a button, and the water is routed through the Zuvo Water Purator. When we’re done, simply turn off the water and the water system is turned off.

There are two different series of the Zuvo Water Filtration System, the 100 and 300 Series. The system I received is the 300 model…There are also different faucet designs for the different models.  I opted for the 300 model and one of their brushed nickel faucets for my kitchen.

The filters have to be changed about every six months  or approximately 500 gallons, whichever comes first…As I have mentioned before we go through a lot of bottled water when my mom is with us and the cost of the water you add the fact that we are using all those plastic….Not the best plan for the environment. We do recycle, but I certainly prefer not to use the bottles at all.

The best part about the Zuvo Filtration System besides the environmental and the money it saves is the absence of taste, indicating that Zuvo removes any added minerals or chlorination, any detectable substance other than clean, clear water which is exactly what my mom and I have to admit that welike in our water.
