Born 2 Impress Be My Valentine- Juiceman Juicer and Food Processor Review and Giveaway

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to keep eating healthy and make sure I keep off those extra pounds I lost.  Juiceman gave me the opportunity to try their Juicer and Food Processor which features an extra-large 9-cup bowl, 2 speeds and their Perfect Prep button for better control and the very convenient dishwasher-safe parts that makes this two in one kitchen appliance a must have in any modern kitchen.

 The unit also has an Extra-Large Pulp Container with a capacity of (54-oz / 1.6-L) that allows you to process great amounts of fruit without having to worry about emptying the container. One of my favorite features on this juicer is the 3-inch wide-mouth feed chute with pusher that allows less precutting, and less prep time and more juicing in less time, and a Stainless Steel Mesh Filter.

 The unit is made of a plastic with a stainless steel finish that looks great with other stainless steel appliances. The JM1000M has the control buttons located on the front of the base for easy access to all controls….. The unit is very user friendly; all you need to do is press low or high to select the speed that works best for you.

The juicer as I mentioned before has two speeds: The low speed is best to use for softer produce like berries, citrus fruits, leafy vegetables and soft-skinned produce like peaches, mangoes and kiwis. When working with harder produce like rind-on melons, pineapple, beets, cabbages, carrots and celery the high speed works best. You also have the Off/Perfect Prep™ button which works as a pulse button which gives you better control of the unit when you need it… and it is an nice option that you will more likely use when working with the bowl (food processor).

The unit will work for as long as you have the button pressed down (they do not recommend doing this for more than 2 minutes at a time). The food processor bowl is about 9-cups / 67-oz / 2-L which like in the case of the pulp container allows you to work with quite a bit of ingredients. Included with the JM1000M, you will find the instructions in English /Spanish…By the way in the instructions, you will find a complete chart of different fruits and vegetables and the recommended speed to use on working on them that really comes in handy.

Also included is a recipe book that includes over 50 different recipes for fruit drinks, vegetable drinks, breakfast, appetizers and snacks, soups, side dishes and of course deserts!
