Honeywell HFD300 AirGenius 3 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer - Review and Giveaway

Having a husband with a high allergy tendency and living in a carpeted condo is really not a good combination, so I try to stay up to date on the best products and ways to keep allergens at bay. I have tried a few different air purifiers with my most recent acquisition being the Honeywell HFD300 AirGenius 3 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer.

The Honeywell HFD300 AirGenius 3 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer Features a patented QuietClean® ifD® advanced filtration technology.

This air cleaner combines some of the best features and technology available into one very smart air cleaner. The unit can Capture 99.9% of particles, including the ones you can see and the really tiny microscopic ones that you can't see but that we all know are there.

The air purifier can circulate the air in a large room (up to 225 sq. ft)¹. This is pretty good! The Honeywell HFD300 AirGenius 3 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer. Smart controls, are meant to make your life easier eliminating the guesswork out of how to most successfully clean the air in your home as the unit offers 3 air cleaning levels.

This allows you to personalize your cleaning mode according to your needs …..You can choose from SLEEP (almost noiseless operation), GENERAL cleaning or MAX cleaning power…..I usually do the MAX for quick cleaning and then change the setting to the GENERAL mode or SLEEP mode during the night time.

The honeycomb style filter doesn't restrict airflow like paper filters do, allowing this unit to deliver a quieter operation. One thing I definitely love about this air purifier is the fact that the ifD® filter is permanent and really easy to clean …..All you need to do is wash the filter 4 times a year (Electronic filter change indicator tells you when to check your filters); there is no need to replace it so this air purifier is really a stress free device.

To make things even better, this model is Energy Star rated and uses about the same amount of electricity as a light bulb! The optional on/off oscillation helps disperse the air for a fresher air throughout the room.

The HFD300 AirGenius 3 air Cleaner has been AHAM certified for use in rooms up to 225 square feet. Its certified CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) values are:

 • Tobacco Smoke: 146

 • Dust: 150

 • Pollen: 160

This air cleaner is ARB Certified to comply with the federal ozone emissions limit.  The AirGenius has a retail price of 229.99 and is only available in white.

I like that the Honeywell Air Genius 3 Air Cleaner has a permanent filter that just needs washing 4 times a year and that it's quiet. Another product that looks good is the Honeywell 6034 Air Cooled 20kW Home Standby Generator because being without electricity for more that a few hours interrupts my life too much.

Wow would I ever love to try this product I live in a city called St Augustine and I am surrounded by low tide smells and other really nasty smells from other peoples septic tanks needing cleaning. I now have one of these kinds of things in my room but its so old and overwhelmed I would sure love to to replace it so I'm not smelling this really nasty air and always burning candles to cover it up I spend more on candles and incense than I spend anything else now a days Lol

I need to type this.............Not all of you bloggers do this but I have noticed that lots of you add the entries that ONLY fellow bloggers can enter for. I don't think that is very fair, since you people get all sorts of free stuff sent to you for reviews etc. plus they get extra entries on other bloggers giveaways now too. I have noticed this with a lot of the blog giveaways but this one is the worst yet with like 12 extra entries that only bloggers can use. I understand you people want to promote your blogs and having other bloggers add your widgets etc. to their blog does that for you, I get it......... but do you really believe that is fair to your fans? After all, it's all about the fans right??????
