Born 2 Impress 2013 Must Have Products- Heelys Shoes Review and Giveaway

Heelys are the two-in-one shoe that lets you take life at your own pace. With the wheels out, the stylish designs perform and look just like any other shoe. When you easily put the wheels in, you roll at a different speed. Heelys are about exploring your freedom, unleashing the fun and empowering you to be fearless….The very first time I saw a pair of Heelys was actually at my sister in Law’s house where both her kids had a pair of Heely’s and that was on my very first visit to the US…Back then I thought they were really neat…Today I still think they are really neat and definitely a really cool concept!

I was given the opportunity to try the Straight Up 7890 design for girls which features a classic skating style with blutcher  and toe with the 3D molded Heelys logo. The shoes which I picked in black with pink laces and while sole, are available in a couple of other colors, but I think this color combination is great for a girl.

One thing I did not know about Heelys, is that the wheels are actually removable which makes them not only a lot of fun, but also convenient. So if your kid is wearing them when you’re out and misbehaving and using them when they are not supposed to, you can simply say “give me your wheels” – and they are back to being a normal pair of shoes.

The shoes are made with high quality materials and attention to details and I must add that they include a tool for easily removing the wheels, a cover for the times that you want to use your Heelys as a regular shoes and an extra pair of laces (white), in case you want to change the look on the shoes!

One thing is for sure, kids love their Heelys, and one more thing I did not know is that Heelys is also available in adult sizes. I was actually very tempted to get this, but I knew my little girl would love them, so I went with the kid’s size.

The shoes were a little tricky to use for the first couple of minutes, but the bug got them under control really quick, and as I thought she loves them.

The shoes look really comfortable (no complaints from my daughter), they are padded for added comfort except for the front part of the shoes. The Heely’s catalog is very wide selection so there is a style for everyone. The Straight Up 7890 design has a retail price of 54.95

I couldn't even conceive of buying these for my kid, they could seriously get hurt with these shoes. What happened to older skate sneakers, they where fine and the wheels also went down when not needed. Sorry, but these look to dangerous to me. I had to put my review in too.
